“We've been here twice and loved it both times! I tried the crunchy taco with steak, the street taco with chicken and the pee wee burrito with chicken. All of it was AMAZING! I think the chicken is my favorite of the meats but steak was good too. The pee wee burrito was still huge and the crunchy taco was probably my favorite! I will definitely be back!“

“The food was amazing and this says a lot because I don't usually eat tacos. The cashier was very friendly, and the restaurant was tastefully decorated and clean. The food came out promptly and everything was piping hot. The beef ramen was DA BOMB! We will definitely return again the next time we're in Ogden UT.“

“My husband had their street tacos at work and insisted I try them. We ordered a lot of tacos and were happy to find a great street tacos place in our area. Haven't tried the tortas and don't think we will. Not our thing. Nice place on the inside. Nice gal and 2 workers in the back. Efficient service. Not crowded. No taco Tuesday deal.“

“I never write reviews, but this place blew me away! Customer service by the manager was incredibly nice and she talked us through the whole menu and made it a memorable experience. We love burritos and they did not disappoint as well as their stacker! Will definitely be coming again. Also try the queso because it is to die for. Well worth it!“

“Small place, big flavors. They don’t play here, had some huevos rancheros and the menudo. Feels like walking into my mom’s kitchen, I even started getting flashbacks of the chancla and my mom yelling at me to get out of the way. Stop by, no regrets.“

“This place was amazing. The Biria Pizza was awesome and had a ton of condiment selections to pick from at the condiments bar. Fed 4 people for not a ton of money and was one of the best Mexican dishes i've ever had.Lots of Latin style drink options like Jarritos and smoothies to pick from.Parking kinda sucks, plan out your route using the satelite view to understand how this place works.Dietary restrictions: May be hard to get non cross contaminated food here. I believe they can withhold certain parts of the recipe for you.Parking: Park on the street or in the back. Watch out for the parking signs.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options to pick from.Wheelchair accessibility: May be tight but you should be able to fit.“

“At first I thought I was in a McDonald's in Mexico. Not a taco bell, the tables looked like any other ff place, just with Mexican decorations. Once I got past that, I went to the counter, ordered one of the meals from the wall, 4 steak Street tacos and beans_rice. It was yummy! I had never had tres leches cake before, it was also good.“

“Wow!!! This is really good authentic Mexican food. If you know, you know. The place is a little meager and their english is not that good, but they are super friendly and polite. Most importantly, they can cook. It is the food that will have you coming back again and again. Try everything. You'll end up having several reasons to come back. I now eat lunch there every Wednesday.“

“This is the best little Mexican place in the Ogden/Riverdale area, for my money. The food is fantastic, especially the carne asada. The street taco special plate is outstanding, and the chulavista nachos are amazing. Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service. It's a regular lunch stop for me.“

“Don't expect anything more than a glorified indoor taco cart, plastic utensils, plates, patched walls, and leaky sinks. This is my new favorite taco spot; they have all the meats I mean all of them and the flavor is beautifully simple; that's the draw for me the salsa in the salsa cart was just as flavorful and adds to the simplistic nature, I tried to get one of each taco, but there are too many I couldn't find my favorite they were all so so good, I can't wait to get back to try the rest, I did have a torta, and wow the bread was not too much it was just right it had a great texture. The flavor was on point, the staff was so friendly and had the best smile, and the ambiance was clean where it mattered. Bottom line, if you like tacos and can appreciate what this is, it will be your favorite.“

“Ok. Seriously. Come here and just eat their chips and salsa. What an amazing flavor. The salsa they bring to the table is called arranchera. And it is the best salsa I've ever had. You're gonna be tempted to drink what's left... Just saying. If you want more than the complimentary serving, though, you'll be paying $4.99.The tacos Al pastor are nearly perfect. The pork isn't rubbery or like jerky. It is perfectly cooked alongside the pineapple. The carne asada taco was a close second in deliciousness. The enchilada, beans and rice were very good as well. Apparently the fish tacos are amazing but we didn't try them this time.We will be back!“

“I was disappointed the taco bar was closed but that's okay, perhaps another time. We came for an evening dinner. We was sat close to the stage where a woman was singing karaoke. There were song requests, and some younger children where even allowed on stage to perform by themselves and with the woman already singing. What's great is the music was in Spanish AND in English with translations on an adjacent screen. Great for someone starting to learn a new language. The waitress was nice and didn't come by really unless our drinks were close to empty. Making it easier to enjoy the show and my family time out. Our food took a while to come out (almost 50 minutes) assuming it's made to order. Not a big deal but some portions were barely luke warm while others were piping hot. It was all still pretty good. The pricing however was a bit on the higher side for the portions on certain plates. I LOVE horchatta and theirs is so far my favorite between N. SLC. and Ogden. The atmosphere is very homey and open. The lighting is dim but not too dim while a soft spotlight hangs over each table. Maybe it's to center attention on the stage. My family and I were pleased and am glad to finally make it here. We'll definitely go back.“

“Not only is the food consistently excellent, the family running this business could not be nicer people. Great service, always welcome and engaging, fun and clean environment. This has been an almost weekly staple for my 93 yr old father and I. My dad speaks fluent Spanish, and the owner always takes a moment to stop by the table and speak with my dad in Spanish, which makes his whole week. These are really wonderful people who care about their customers, and it shows in the quality of both their food and their service. Love this place and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fantastic meal from a proudly-owned family business.“

“I went at a good time, just before the dinner crowd. Rebecca was my server. She was sweet, nice and greeted "my friend how are you "? She check on me, the food was brought out hot ,& promptly. I asked for one meal to be set to go, she made sure it was brought out with my main meal. I've been there twice now. This place I go to because of the service and food. I'm relaxed there. “The serving staff is very courteous, attentive, and catered well to our vegan dietary needs.Vegetarian options: As far as vegan/vegetarian options, the Nachos Picantes (No Cheese) that comes with beans and pico is really tasty or go for a Fajita Veggies Burrito with beans and rice or a Bean Tostada loaded with fajita veggies, lettuce & pico. You can always get a side of rice and beans. They specified that the beans were for sure made without animal products.Dietary restrictions: GF“

“Got the birria burrito, chicken burrito and their nachos. Was satisfied with everything! The rice is delicious. 2 complaints, the red sauce is EXTREMELY spicy! 15 minutes later and my husbands mouth including mine is still on fire. The birria sauce is super watery.Regardless, we will return.“

“Don’t let this “scary looking restaurant” scare you away. We usually get street tacos from the street cart on 26th and Washington Blvd. Lately no one there. So, we decided to give this company a try. WOW! YUMMMMY!While it may not be the prettiest place to dine at or (take out in my case) the service was was amazing, and their little tacos were packed with flavor. We purchased 5 different ones and were impressed with all 5 of the meats we chose. They definitely earned our repeat business. Our new favorite local street tacos.Tacos La Tapatia - thank you for being in business. You really are a hidden gem. Those tacos were amazing. We could literally taste the love you put into your food. See you again soon! Muchas Gracias por todo! Nos AMOS los tacos muchismo!“

“When I have extreme cravings for chilaquiles I go here. I love the choices of meat that you can put on top and you can get eggs and you can get red or green sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The two salsas those were actually tasty the red one was very picoso. The chile relleno the sauce had so much flavor. And nothing was cold. The bisteak was seasoned perfectly it tasted so bomb. The egg and the chilaquiles complimented each other, the sauce I couldn't get enough of it. The rice and beans even had flavor. Everything was packaged nice and neat. These pictures do not do the food Justice at all. Was a very nice comfort food late lunch. I don't eat here as often as I like but when I do I have a good experience.“

“The best place in Utah for authentic Mexican style chicken and rice (pollo con arroz) or just a quick simple but crazy delicious meal. That guy that said pollo loco is better is most likely not used to authentic food :) We get the quarter chicken and 3 tacos and share. The dining area is small and out of date but we survived!Parking: Small parking lot and it shares with another business. You may need to park on the street.Kid-friendliness: Not a great place for kids but the staff is friendly and kind so that compensates.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible for all abilities.“

“Loved this place and loved the street tacos! I usually get carnitas and asada. Better than average carnitas and above average asada! Would just get asada next time. 2 different kinds of red and green sauce. All the fixings you could want. Small market inside as well. Every day from 3 PM to 8 PM (close) they do 4 street tacos and a drink for $10. Nice lady who took our order. This will be our new street taco go-to location since it is near our home.“
“I bought the large pizza with 10 toppings (special something or other) and got a garlicky bread thing on the side and the price was awesome and it tastes delicious.Don't bother with their website though, it looks like it was made a long time ago and it doesn't have a menu on there as far as I could tell :P“

“Very clean and well kept. The inside has a more modern feel with a number of plants and greenery making it feel fresh. The food was good, the cheese enchiladas aren't a melted cheese, they are shredded and left as such. But flavors were stellar and there was plenty of food. Highly recommend.“

“One of our favorite places in Ogden to eat. Truly great food and the waiter/waitresses are so nice and informative on what to eat and what is top of the menu. The food is always flavorful, great service and never overly busy to where you are waiting too long to get a seat. Highly recommend and they also have a kids menu which is nice.Parking: Roughly 10 spots right in front of Sonora Grill but there is parking all along the streets that you can usually find parking quickly.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere and outside area for the kids to run around on. “The guys here are hilarious! We were the only ones in today (probably because of the holiday yesterday) and they treated us like royalty. The cooks came out and made sure we liked the sauces, our food was made fresh and they chatted with us about the area. That spicy sauce had us going and they were laughing about two white ladies enjoying such authentic food ? 11/10 atmosphere. The portions are huge and WELL worth the prices. They have a fridge full of Jarrittos and hearts full of love! Please accept our humble thank you for serving us. Mi abuela and I will definitely be back next week. We love you guys!Wheelchair accessibility: There was plenty of room on the line to order and the tables and booths are spaced out to allow for wheelchair and disabled access. The parking in front has a ramp area for easier access onto the sidewalk. There was no music playing and the lighting was quite sensory friendly“

“I could find no discernable differences between the food here and one of the more common places like Betos or Rancheritos (not that this is a bad thing), so I don't have any justification to drive the extra distance to this place instead of those. Prices are also pretty expensive here. For two ham breakfast burritos and nothing else, I paid a total of $18.21 after tax and credit card fee. I miss the old days when these types of Mexican restaurants were a great value because of how much food you got for a reasonable price. When I look at the price of this same burrito from a user-submitted menu photo, I can see that there's been an almost 30% increase in the price since that pic was posted only 2 years ago. In my opinion, it no longer makes sense to eat at places like this unless you are REALLY craving it. Overall though, the food was good and the worker was really nice. These types of restaurants will continue to be a "once a year" type of food for me.“
