This place is great. It's been around for years and the owner is amazing. It is heartbreaking this will be closing forever on 7/22/22. :(

I love love love this place ever since I was a young girl! It seriously is the best place to get sandwiches from! I’m bummed they are closing but I’m glad because moe can finally relax he has always been so kind and always finds a way to make me laugh every visit! I hope he enjoys his retirement and a fast recovery!!! Thanks for cheering me up and feeding me delicious food:)

The sandwiches are always fresh. The fries were hot. I would have opted for the fries to not be quite as hot this time though.I called in my order since I was coming on my lunch to pick it up. I only have 30 minutes actually and I was just going to take it back and eat it in my office while working. They quoted me 15 minutes, which was perfect because that's how long it takes me to get there.Well the sandwich was ready but the fries hadn't even been started yet. So I had to wait ten minutes. I was late getting back from lunch and had to work late to make up the time. I knocked off a star because of this. What's the point in calling in the order if the order isn't ready when you get there?

Being from the northeast I found it hard to get a good sandwich/sub in Utah. Most "sandwiches" I've gotten out here fall closer to the panini category - thin, very little meat, and pretentious. Grinders 13 knows how to make a quality sub. Great ratio of meat to bread, quick service, reasonably priced. Roast beef is made in house too. If they were closer to my work I'd be getting lunch here 3 times a week minimum.

Wow, simply the best New York style deli in Utah. We ordered a 10" Philly steak and cheese and a 10" pastrami, and 2 order of fries. Sandwiches were both mouth watering. Meat was so tender leaving you wanting more. The bread used was not over 'bready' and fresh. Fries were hot and fresh. People who ran and owned the place were so friendly. The food, the quality, the people will be having us coming back for more!

I started eating the best sub sandwiches in the world in 1969 at the very cramped but worth the block long wait around the Salt Lake location, on 1500 S State St. across from South High School it was worth a Grinders 13 sub sandwich. Always I will order me 2 foot long sub sandwiches. Always it has to be their Italian Meats with the works and on the side the Grinders 13 peppers, then the 2nd foot long could be the Philly Steak with the kitchen sink and of course the peppers or maybe it would be the Texas Cheese Steak. I moved to WVC and so did they. Opened 2nd location off the SR 201 at 2700 W. Just a few years from my first bite in 1969 until this day I still eat these wonderful, freshly baked white and wheat grain bread hourly, local Italian meats and cheeses used for my favorite. Fresh meats and local produce and cheeses used. Oh man I'm hunkered. To bad I'm closer to Dinosaur ? than SLC Valley. I need my Italian meets fix, sometimes my second sandwich even makes it until dinner. I put a Bonnie Llama on Grinders 13.

Nice enough people, other then the gloom and doom being preached at the front counter, this time, maybe a uplifting topic instead of that, usually the old guy is a delight feels like ordering from my dad. Still worth 5 stars in my book, also it could be a little cleaner inside, I feel like I don't wanna sit down cuz its not the cleanest, but to me not a huge issue, I just take it to go.
