“My family (spouse and 3.5yo twins) and I have been coming here for brunch at LEAST once a month for well over a year. I say “at least” because if/when we ever have friends & family visit - Plated Dreams is definitely a stop on the itinerary.Angie (owner) is beyond kind and thoughtful. No matter how busy they are (and they are OFTEN busy), she takes the time to catch up on how we’re doing, and always asks what she can do to ensure our experience is top notch. Chris (owner) also always takes time to catch us up on how business is going, what improvements they have made based on customer feedback…and most of all, ALWAYS spoils our twins. These are 2 business owners who BLEED everything they have into ensuring the experience is a positive and amazing memory for everyone that comes in.We have had every server over the months, and not a single one disappoints. There is a clear culture of customer experience in this place. Atmosphere is GORGEOUS, which is why it’s a hotspot for IG pictures, and the food is DELICIOUS (props to the Hash). And special shoutout to our favorite server, Arabelle. “Wanting to try something different, we heard about the Turkish Coffee and wanted to see the process and taste a cup. Parking is really really challenging but once you find a spot, this is a cozy little house with many seating areas. The ordering counter is next to the setup for heating the Turkish Coffee. We enjoyed watching our server heat and pour this traditional cup. We especially enjoyed the seasonings that you could add to flavor the coffee. While it is a small cup, it sure is bold enough and packs a punch :) Glad we could try something different, check it out!“

“As soon as we walked in, all the staff was very welcoming. We got helped by Brooklyn and she was so sweet and helpful! My bf and I got intrigued by the names of their specialty drinks, Spartan and Aztec. They definitely fit our taste ? All their merch is also REALLY cool !“

“This was the BEST brunch choice we could have made. My husband, myself, and my inlaws are all from out of state, and so we found the restaurant online and saw a few mixed reviews. We make a reservation, show up early, and evn though it was busy, got a patio seated table 15 minutes early! The reuben was DIVINE, the salad incredible, and there was an amazing selection of coffees and teas. One thing i wish they did was have icewater, instead of ice upon request, but thats not a big deal! Also, for the breakfast, i wish there was more jam per container, but we were able to request a second container, and it went perfectly with the yogurt and toast. The atmosphere was AMAZING. You would never know you are in the heart of SLC. The outdoor seating has so many fresh flowers, a little water feature, and a beautiful canopy overhead so the patio can be used to its full potential. The open gate to the street, multiple entrances to the patio made it feel so inviting and inclusive, and the healthy (but delicious) food choices almost made you feel like you were eating the freshest food available. There also seemed to be a great essential oil/herbal scent in the air which just added to the overall vibe! We fed 4 adults (including a tea, soda, and granola "upgrade') for $70! (not including tip!) That felt like an amazing deal for the location and again, ambiance. Our waters never even reached half before they were automatically refilled, and our waiter checked in with us very frequently and offered his personal reccomendations (the reuben and the Mediterranean salad) and that was had by 3/4 of us. It was a worthy reccomendation. I highly, highly encourage you to go here! Making a reservation is simple and easy, and the menu is available online!“

Ample seating, great selections to please anyone, friendly service, great neighborly vibes, chill music, and nobody pushes you to leave if you're there to get some work done while you're there. Honestly, I wish I could move to the neighborhood and come here all the time.“

“Love this place. A local shop that provides healthy and vegan food. I got the stir fried eggplant and mushroom and it was so good. The portion is so bug and filling. I couldn't finish my food and got a lot of leftover. Their chili sauce was also phenomenal. Staff was super nice and helpful.“

“I went here while in town for work, the employees were extremely friendly and the food was absolutely great, the chicken was cooked perfectly where the breading was crunchy and the chicken was juicy. “I have always loved going to Penny Ann's Cafe but the only location I had visited before was in Taylorsville! Their breakfast is always delicious and they have so many different choices! Their scones are a must and they're also very famous for their hot cakes! I tried the breakfast burrito without meat and it was definitely my favorite! 5 stars for sure!“

“A amazing spot for working parents! My sons (1 & 3) spent four hours of nonstop playing which means I had four hours of non-interrupted work time. There are so many toys they didn't even squabble over who had what. Not to mention they have yummy food and drinks they will deliver straight to you. “My family has gone here for over 25 years. It is our favorite Chinese restaurant & where we go for special occasions! I love the taste of everything I've ever ordered but usually end up getting my favorite dishes, all vegetarian with soy 'chicken'. They also offer meat dishes, so any meat eaters can get what they want as well. When I'm buying, everyone eats veggie, but my meat-eating kids don't mind because they love the soy 'meat'!My favorites (all soy chicken) Moo Goo Gai Pan, Mu Shu Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken. Also veggie Won Ton Soup & Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls. My kids also like the Hot & Sour Soup, & the beef & seafood dishes.Vegetarian options: There is a complete separate vegetarian menu as well as a separate meat menu. A lot of variety to choose from. In addition to vegan options, they also have some gluten free treats for those that prefer or need that. I love seeing so many great options! “Evo Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Customer service throughout the hotel, from front desk staff to cafe barista, skate park staff, retail store staff, yoga instructors, etc was phenomenal! (A shout out to Kennedy who patiently helped us through last min delays from our Amtrak train because of storms.) Everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to help/accommodate at every turn. We loved how clean and exceptionally well designed all the rooms were - with no carpet (which we loved!), lots of hooks and storage space, interesting artwork, and effective layouts. There are coolers you can borrow if you need to keep drinks cool, the cafe bar has great drinks and pastries, yogurts, and smoothies, and there is a filtered water dispenser on the first floor. As part of the stay, you have access to all the facilities and we enjoyed the evening yoga classes. There are lots of cute restaurants within a few blocks, and parking in the lot or out front was very easy. This is an industrial area, so there are some homeless people around, but we had no issues. With the fantastic customer service, clean & cook vibes, and all the fun amenities, this will definitely be our go to hotel in SLC!“

“Short review: Easily the best coffee shop and cafe on campus. Long review: Imagine you're a senior engineering student. It's Friday, so you pop by your favorite on-campus coffee shop, Two Creek, with a friend and grab an oat-milk cappuccino, and what the heck, throw in a bag of vegan, gluten free cookies. Good cappuccino, perfect thing to make your first class less boring, even somewhat pleasant. Forget about the cookies in your bag, they'll wait until tonight. Fine day, a few classes, a few conversations and an early lunch and you're done. It's 2 PM, so you figure you could pop by your undergraduate research job and run a test you thought you got ready on Tuesday. Turns out it'll take two hours to set up. Your boss is busy so you get her top lab to help you out. He keeps trying to do his own job, but you keep bothering him so he 'leads you by the hand' through the belated test set-up. He leaves, you finish setting up. You take your first test readings, grab sample number 1, raise the test solutions PH, and repeat. But you goofed on the PH, lower it and take your readings. Raise it again and take the next reading, one of your machines is giving weird numbers, but that's okay, right? Raise the PH and collect sample 4, oh wait, you've only grabbed one other sample. Frick. Call your boss to scrap the test. They come down and agree, you need to redo the test and the machine is being weird. Spend two hours cleaning up, questioning your life, and have your sister text you asking where you are. Leave the lab, anxious, shaky, and hangry. Get ready for your 1.5 hour commute home. It's late so every store, food place, and cafe on campus are closed. Open your bag to get a sip of water for your parched mouth, and there they are. The cookies. Elation and quick carbs fill you. They're pretty good, or you're mighty hungry. Your night has been saved. That's what Two Creek is, a bright spot at the beginning, or end, of an unpredictable college day.“

“Today, we were in the U of U neighborhood, so we stopped in at Rio Grande Cafe for a late lunch. We were immediately seated in the upstairs dining area which is very clean and spacious. Our server was Olivia, a student at the U. from Washington State. Olivia was very pleasant to talk with, and while we did not order drinks from the bar at the start, we eventually did, and the $5 Margaritas were great. We shared a shrimp enchilada, with salad, rice, and beans. This was comfort food for a chilly afternoon! Because we shared an entree, we indulged in some key lime cheesecake. Wow, that was so good. This was an all around great lunch experience!“

“Without a doubt the best dining option in the SLC airport, and probably the best restaurant I've been to in any airport. I've been here many times and ordered a variety of items and they are all delicious. The kicker is they are actually reasonably priced for the quality they offer and are not inflated because of the location in the airport. I highly recommend the Salmon, burger and walnut salad - all are excellent sit down quality meals. The pastries are wonderful too!!“
