“May 2024-This winery is not the most beautiful of the wineries in the area and does not have a view but the staff member was very friendly and I really liked the Petite Manseng. Their wines tend to be on the dry side. I would recommend visiting here.“

“I really like the grounds here as it is breathtakingly beautiful. I mainly liked their Gewürztraminer wine. I found one of the staff members with short hair to be kind of snobby and not great with customer service but the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not like that you could not choose which wines to try. They choose them for you and they are all served prepoured and refrigerated which I did not appreciate with some of them being reds. I would much rather choose some of the wines poured directly from the bottle.“

“This place is so fun! The whiskey itself is, of course, excellent. I'm a whiskey girl, so the single barrel and the 4-grain are my favorites. But the gin is excellent as well, particularly if you don't normally like gin. There's not a lot of indoor seating, and they get crowded fast, so it helps to get here when they open. The staff are all great - very casual but knowledgeable. Try the Cozy Old-fashioned cocktail!“

“We stayed at the Farmhouse at Veritas last November and enjoyed a four course wine paired dinner. Unfortunately there was a forest fire in Rockfish Gap with a resulting traffic jam that prevented us from attending "wine hour" prior to dinner. We visited the tasting room on 5 April 2025 and had the opportunity to enjoy more of this vineyard's offerings. This was the highlight of our weekend when it comes to the four vineyards visited.The tasting area here is a large two-story affair with plenty of outdoor seeting as well. We did not have a look at the food menu but did start to get hungry watching all of the food go by.Vesritas was awarded three gold medals in the 2024 Governor's cup and we enjoued them all. The two wines on the white side of the ledger are coming home with us to be enjoyed later. Highly recommended!“

“I got take-out from here, and it was quick and very, very good, i got a rueben with frys and for desert peanut butter pie. My wife got the drunken shrimp and a burger, and she absolutely loved it. “Beautiful winery and Meadery off the beaten path but worth the trip. They have 5 dollar tasting flights but also offer full flights with cheese and crackers. I really liked the Plum wine and the Pear wine. We just loved the goats that you can pet and feed.“

“The steak huaraches are delicious. So much food. Ask for the green sauce. I love spicy foods but the red one was too much for me. The green is perfect heat. Expect to wait, especially at lunch time, but it’s worth it! We think to stop at his truck any time we go over the mountain.“

“A pizza that size and actually good is fantastic. The pepperoni and mushrooms I ordered as toppings were generous and very tasty. The sauce and cheese were good as well. It was cooked correctly and the crust was also quite good. Not a huge soggy mess like many other large pies. It was done quickly and when they said. Friendly staff and I like the location and shop as well. Cool spot. Classic foldable Brooklyn style slice that is not paper thin. For what you get it is worth the money. Have room in your car, she is a big one.“

Obviously with the local demographics they have toned down some of the original spices that one would normally find in Mexican cuisine but nonetheless it the food and service was good.“

“There is a lot of good in this tiny place! I see and acknowledge the review that was unimpressed with the building/aesthetic. This is for sure a streamlined operation with little in the way of decor or coziness. For me, that doesn't take away from the awesomeness of this place. It is a small taproom, one bar, five seats, and a very sticky floor (it's kombucha!). When you walk in, the smell of kombucha nearly knocks you back through the door. But you knew it was a kombucha place, so I mean, you asked for it. Once you get over those things, the service is always friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic in sharing their love for kombucha. You can sample all of their flavors, which is really cool. There wasn't a flavor I didn't enjoy. And what's more, my anti-kombucha drinking parents even loved several flavors! That's proof of the thoughtful flavor mixing these guys do. A bonus that I didn't know until later, you can mix the flavors too!! My new favorite mix is bluegrass and black raspberry, which I'm calling Black & Blue! I'd say if you're wanting a unique experience and the chance to change your mind on kombucha, give this place a try! I Bucha!“
