“Wow, Wow, &?!!I think we found our new happy place!!The Pork ribs were HUGE(I know, that’s what she said?) The pig must have been on steroids. They were seasoned perfectly and had the right pull on off the bone. Sitting here writing this my mouth is salivating.They do everything right not a bunch of crappy sauces to cover poor cooked meats, like most places.They let their meat do all the talking.These thick and juicy ribs melt in your mouth and were priced right.The brisket bark was spot on, flavor was amazing but was a tad bit over cooked for my likings even asked for the fatty piece. Mac n cheese was also delicious.Now the beer list…. It Was outstanding!!I wanted to sit here all day drinking the beers and eating ribs.The story on how got here… we attended the Thai festival in Manassas Va on 4/7 stopped for a beer afterwards and the bartender suggested HammerDown. He said it was out of our way but said there is No good BBQ anywhere is Manassas. Hard to believe with over 40,000 people.So we decided to take a detour, way beyond our expectations! Well done ?The owner was kind and poured us up our beers and asked us if we were full.Also what kind of wood do you use?”

“My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. HIGHLY recommend the Roast Beast. We love trying new hard drinks, BB always switches their inventory every few days/weeks and typically support other VA businesses. Service is always quick and it’s a great place to get some work done/quick lunch.”

“Incredible food- the best BBQ I’ve had outside of Texas. But the wait is absolutely ridiculous. Took an an hour and 15 min from standing in line, ordering, and waiting until I go my food. Surely they can speed it up…”

“Good wine and beer. Was very crowded and lines took 25 mins. Wine slushy and pizza line was particularly bad. We avoided some of the lines by sending someone to the adults only side to buy some bottles of wine. That was quick, but there was no way to work around the 20 min beer line. Pizza is Chicago style. They don’t serve any kid drinks, so be sure to pack what you need for kids.”

“Greenheart is excellent. The smoothie bowls are actually a pretty decent size and they always have different chia puddings in the fridge near the register. My kids always demolish whatever bowls they get and my wife and I always get the Mother of Dragons bowls. It can be slow inside as there are only a few people that work there and everything has to be made to order but its not a huge deal. 10/10 would recommend”

“I come here as often as I'm passing by. Best to order ahead to avoid a wait, especially during lunch times. It helps to be able to speak Spanish, more so if you order ahead.I'm all about the burrito del asada. The steak inside the burrito keeps with a crispy outer crunch even when everyone else in there should make it soggy. I do see what everyone else is getting and it also looks delicious.Bang for your buck, this is where it's at. Only downside, if anything, is there are only two picnic tables and all outdoor. However, if you're looking for a place to eat on a rainy day, come here anyway and find somewhere else to eat it.Parking: Lunch time is crowded but you can park at the gas station nextdoor while you wait.”

“Convenient within Harris Teeter, and has a good area for kids to sit while waiting for Tae Kwon Do next door, or while their parents shop. The staff is friendly though the place does get crowded during heavy shopping times.”

The Valentine's 5 course menu was fantastic - we especially loved the lobster bisque and ordered the mini lobster roll to start - delicious!”

“I had heard really good things about this amazing little Italian grocery which offers cured meats and cheeses, so I went with friends one day to see what it was all about…. Upon entering the owner greeted me and explained what he had to offer, many items were imported from Italy and DOP! He readily gives samples as he explains how very sandwiches and breads are made and how things go together to create meals and snacks.They have multiple rooms with various imported Italian goodies… One room is loaded with sweets, another has sauces, pastas, spreads, etc, another has breads – All are worth viewing! Then the cases up front have cheese in one and meats in the other and if you ask, he’ll let you sample!I took home some par-baked, frozen boule, which was imported. They explained how to perfectly finish it off in the oven and I have to say that it came out GREAT! Also took home some amazing tapenade and sun dried cherry tomatoes, which offered a great spread to the sliced boule! For dinner I took home a couple of their sandwiches to finish off in the oven as well: a Sopraseta and asiago and a porchetta and asiago and both were fabulous!Highly recommend stopping in… I can’t wait to return!!”

“Dropped in for a leisurely lunch and to take care of some remote work. Placed me in a quiet corner, away from other diners. Food was fabulous. The cheesecake is to die for! A few minor hiccups with order, but it was handled quickly and with grace. Always the most telling sign of a place; how they respond when things don't go as planned.”

Nice high top tables, some sofa chairs by a fireplace, a separate quieter room with couches, smaller coffee tables, and even a kids play room. “This is such a sweet place with people who clearly love to cook and be adventurous with their menu. I had the chicken salad tacos and I loved the watermelon radishes instead of a taco shell. The flavors were outstanding and the outdoor seating was beautiful. The prices are reasonable and the options are plenty! I fed myself and my kids and got drinks plus a tip for $60. There isn't a road sign on Main Street that I saw, but the GPS gets you there easily. Definitely check it out! We'll be coming back ☺️☺️”

The GM Nick seated us without a reservation and even whipped up an amazing off-menu wine cocktail for my friend. Even the playlist for outdoor seating was spot-on. “It’s all about the burgers. Thick char-grilled burgers (NOT a smash burger), fresh angus beef, grilled to order on a house made bun. Yum! Accent your meal with some crispy fries or onion rings, and chase it down with a milkshake.”

He did manage to sit at the table, and did pretty well considering his food was at eye level.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly (no high chairs or booster seats). The chairs also have huge gaps/openings in the back.”
