“Always a wonderful experience! Jeremy was our server and I indulged in the wine pairing with dinner - he did a great job presenting each wine with the different courses. The Valentine's 5 course menu was fantastic - we especially loved the lobster bisque and ordered the mini lobster roll to start - delicious!”

“We stopped in for a drink after a day of zipline at Empower Adventures. The staff was great, the drinks were wonderful! The GM Nick seated us without a reservation and even whipped up an amazing off-menu wine cocktail for my friend. Even the playlist for outdoor seating was spot-on. We will be going back next time we are in the area. Next time we will try the food.”

“A group of friends and I reserved the Loft space at Lost Barrel for an event and had an absolutely great time. The food was fantastic, the drinks were great, the servers were all super nice and attentive and the grounds of the property and a delight to walk around and hang out in. Definitely recommend and will be back.”

“i was so happy to have been able to eat here before they closed for good yesterday (leap day). the owner was so nice, and i could tell that she had built a community based off of the way the other diners were hugging her goodbye on her last day of business. i got the philly cheesesteak on kaiser bread, and it was so good, i took a photo of it before i ate it so that i could try and recreate it at home. it's such a shame that i discovered how good it was on the last day, but i wish the owners all the best & a happy retirement :)”

“My friend and I visited The Oyster Bar in Middleburg, VA. We LOVED our dinner and cocktails. We both ordered salads, and we were very impressed by the different flavors and textures of the salads. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and my friend ordered the marinated Thai steak salad. The Mule cocktail was delicious with fresh lime and ginger . I highly recommend this restaurant for some amazing food and a fun and lively atmosphere.”

“This is the best Thai food in the area!! One of the few places that actually make it spicy when you ask for Thai hot! The Sushi rolls are amazing, Lobster roll is off the charts delicious, and don't forget the Jalapenos appetizer! We frequent this place often and it is always spot on! If you want real Thai food, this is the place, the others in the area do not compare.”

“I’m happy there is Mexican in Middleburg again. The patio is quite small but if you happen to get a table, and don’t mind street traffic, it’s quite enjoyable. The food is always good and the service is relaxed and nice. My kids like it here so that’s probably what matter the most to me”

“The interior has a very unique design, with market-like stalls displaying various products around the walls which are painted like the sky. The short rib sliders were pretty good, and the boursin cheese that came with it was an excellent pairing. I wasn’t as much a fan of the potato salad though. The potatoes felt undercooked, and the whole mix was a bit plain.”

The atmosphere was blundered by a large group at the table next to us.Their loud conversation overtook our own, and their use of foul language put a damper on the designed serene setting.Management acted quickly when we addressed our complaint to them, and the large group was receptive and compliant.While this was an isolated incident, the food and service made it worth repeating and trying something else on the menu.If you wonder...we ate the Reuben ??”

“I'm consistently happy with the food and service here. Occasionally the bar is closed due to special events at the resort so it's worth calling ahead. 4 stars instead of 5 due to our lunch bill exceeding $500 for 4 adults and 3 kids the last time we were there.”
