First time trying this highly recommended Chinese restaurant and I was very happy with how fast the delivery was and how hot and fresh ALL of the food was! We fed a bigger group so we ordered a variety of foods such as sesame chicken (juicy and fresh not old and dry), broccoli and chicken (so fresh), pork fried rice, pork lomein, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon! Seriously all of the food had so much flavor and all came hot and fresh! Definitely ordering from here again!

The lunch specials are such a good deal! You get a spring roll, fried rice and entree.

I can't stress enough how perfect the food was cooked and how kind the staff is. I ordered a hot garlic shrimp dish and my wife had the almond chicken. Both dishes were great. The hand rolled spring and egg rolls were great too. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can.

Food is good, workers who take the orders are friendly and very pleasant people. They will provide any combination of fried rice.

Chef Huang's is a small hole-in-the-wall place in a strip mall. The ambiance is nothing to speak of. By contrast, the food exceeded expectations. I had Hunan Chicken. The chicken was tasty, and the vegetables were a perfect al dente. One quibble: the dish which was supposed to be spicy--it was Hunan after all--had no detectable heat. Next time, I'll ask for extra spicy. I look forward to going back & trying the Szechwan Beef.

I've never tried this restaurant having lived in the area my whole life but when I saw the really great reviews I wanted to try it. I got the Triple Kung Pao dish (beef, chicken and shrimp) and my partner got the curry chicken. We got steak skewers and chicken skewers to try. The delivery was quick and the food was delicious! Veggies were tender and the meat was so fresh and cooked great. We'll definitely be ordering from them from now on!

Great food. Pandemic turned them into all carry out and delivery. But they maintained quality, the chicken is good white meat breast meat, the beef is also tender and high quality. Portions are generous. Not overly spicy, unless you request it. Super nice people have been running it, I've been a customer for 20+ years.

LOVE Chef Huangs! I'm really picky about Chinese food, and I've never ordered anything here I did not like. The general Tso chicken always tastes fresh and has the right amount of spice. The staff is always extremely nice and provides great customer service. I'm glad we found this little gem.

Chef Huang is different from your typical Chinese restaurant. Upon our entrance, we thought we would sit down and have a server, since it appeared to be like that type of restaurant. It wasn't. It is all self service. You order then wait at your table for your order. Our food was in a to go bag and packaging and we were given two styrofoam plates, plastic dinnerware, and napkins. Our drinks were in cans. This was our first time at a Chinese restaurant here and it felt odd eating this way in a booth under a giant crystal chandelier. My husband paid for the bill after they gave us the bag of food to eat at the table. He gave them a 20% tip ($6) without even tasting the food. I prefer to tip after trying the food in a restaurant or a $1 or $2 if we are just ordering takeout at a place. We both decided afterwards that the food was so superlative that the tip was fair. The Crab Rangoon impressed me the most. Usually I expect it to taste like the typical takeout Crab Rangoon. The appetizers were the hugest I ever seen and immensely succulent with a light crispy shell. Cooked to perfection and the best I ever tasted. The General Tso Chicken was the cooked perfectly and lacked that gummy crust texture I usually notice on past takeout experiences of General Tso Chicken. One of the finest cooked versions I had of it in a long time. My husband loved his shrimp fried rice. He said it was reminiscent of the Asian fried ginger peanut rice with chicken that I would cook him. We both decided this would be our go to place for Chinese food and holiday meal takeouts. We usually eat Chinese buffet for Christmas or Thanksgiving due to work and distance from family for many years. There were a lot of menu items I wanted to try that I never see in a Chinese food menu like the fish soup. Definitely will come to this place to try every unique item especially the seafood. The customer service and the staff were the kindest and nicest we have experienced since we moved her.

The price was $2.00 less than average, for Pork Lo Mein. The quality, however, was poor. The dish came from the kitchen after only about 4 minutes (a bad sign). When home, I realized why: pre-cooked noodles dipped in water and tossed with sauce. I don’t believe it ever touched a hot wok. It contained nearly no pork at all and barely any vegetables. It was soft spaghetti tossed in a little brown sauce. So sad. I was excited to try a different place in my neighborhood, after reading good reviews. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish but this place was a one-and-done forever. Sorry Hunan Palace, for looking around on you.

I chose this restaurant based on the 4 stars rating. I am sorry to say this is not a 4 star restaurant.I ordered the Crispy General Tso's and Crab Rangoon. First of all the Crab Rangoon does not come with sweet & sour sauce at this restaurant. You have to order it separately for an additional charge. No where in the menu did it say this nor was it mentioned when I ordered it. Every Crab Rangoon I've ever ordered comes with sweet & sour sauce. So being the first time ordering from here makes it very disappointing not getting or even being told about the lack of sweet & sour sauce.Secondly, the chicken tasted like it was cooked in grease that had previously burned food in or just completely over used grease. That just makes the dinner have a bad smell and taste. For the price it was very disappointing. Complete laziness and poor customer service from the employee's and management.Would not recommend and will not order from here again.

Easily the worst food I've had in a very long time. Not a single thing was 'good'. The steamed dumplings were okay, but the entrees I had were both poor and the fried wantons are dismally bad if not inedible.Total waste of money and calories. To be avoided.

Love this place and the food. Be warned, you should call your order in. Every time I've ordered online, it ends up going to door dash, no matter which method you choose. My door dash orders routinely get intercepted with the driver time jumping 20 min--cold food and they take so much $$ from the restaurant. Chef H is the best Chinese in the neighborhood though.
