After living in Benin, West Africa for over two years from 2012 to 2014 one of the things I miss most is legit African cuisine. I found this place about two months ago, and since have gotten the peanut butter soup with fufu three different times. Each time it reminds me of a similar dish I ate in Benin. I highly recommend this place when you’re hankering for real African cuisine.
In May 2023, our office was having a potluck and everyone wanted to try jollof rice so I catheter from Nyame Ye (restaurant name means God is good).And the whole office loved it so much that everyone got a to go container. Yesterday by popular demands, I ordered a half pan of jollof rice for the team to try and everyone loved it so much. I really love how the consistency never changes.
