Momo & Poke

Just stopped by there this weekend and they look to be closed until further notice. Hopefully they open again soon, they were pretty authentic. Service was mom & pop style so a little bit of a wait but the poke was legit Hawaiian poke and the owner's home-made portuguese sausage was da bomb.For those of you who crave local food the closest I've found were Okonomi in Fairfax (because the mac salad), HawaU in Manassas, and Mochiko in Charlottesville. I stopped by here with my girlfriend today for the first time, and we were amazed! I had the chicken katsu and she had the kalua pig, and both were absolutely incredible. The chicken katsu was crunchy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The kalua pig was what truly blew me away though, this was the best pork I've had in a very long time. I don’t like giving less than 5 stars but here is goes.Just came back from home in Oahu and I was still craving more loco moco so thought I give this spot a shot.It was definitely different. My egg had no yolk, the gravy was slightly odd, the rice was kinda mushy and the Mac salad was also different.
