Good beer, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Allows dogs inside and at the outdoor seating. Recommend the Optimal Wit; their IPAs are good too. Often collaborates with local vendors or organizations for events.
How cool to have a brewery so close to where I was training! This brewery reminded me of New Realm in Atlanta, mainly due to location. Port City is right near a park area and not in a highly busy area. I opted to take a Bird Scooter to get here, and was able to get on Eisenhower Ave and use a connecting park trail to make it over to Wheeler. They have a nice setup outside and inside. What a beer lovers place to go. Lots of parking across the street. I've seen their beers in many beer and wine stores and Optimal Wit is probably the most recognizable. For folks that like pilsners like me, there are so many to choose from and really enjoyed their downright Pilsner and their American pale ale, essential pale ale.
