I just ordered four tacos and it cost me $19. They didn’t even give me the toppings for the tacos. They just gave me the meat and The tortilla they wanted to charge extra for limes, and also the pico!!The prices shouldn’t be that high for four tacos for plain tacos on top of that you get nothing else but the tortilla in the meat they said the toppings were extra. The pico was extra in the limes. It’s a shame.!This place is not a fancy place to go. They are out of their minds.

I came in at 820pm. The waitress that took my order was polite. I originally wanted shredded beef tacos but the chefs told her that option wasn't available. She suggested the Carne Asada & Al Pastor tacos. After 5 minutes they were ready. They were very hot and filled with meat but it was very bland, had no onions, any type of sauce or salsa. I checked the previous reviews and photos specifically for this type of taco and none of them look like mine. I did not see any type of area to add my own toppings, as stated in other reviews.I assume the flavorless tacos were because I ordered so close to closing.

Because of dietary restrictions, we could not order any food. However, the place looked clean. AND judging by the amount of people dining inside, and the number of people on line behind us, ? the food has to have been tasty.

Don’t take it wrong but, I would like to understand,if the store closes at 9:00pm why we close the table section at 8:30pm. Can’t have a sit while waiting for orders to go.

I truly don’t understand how this place has si manh positive reviews. I’m always on the hunt for good genuine mexican tacos so after reading positive reviews for this place i decided to try it. The tacos were absolutely disgusting. I got 6 carne asada tacos the meat was hard and chewwy, it had absolutely no flavor not even salt and the amount of fatty pieces was ridiculous. More than half of each taco was more fat than meat itself. I’m usually not one to complain but i honestly have never had a worse taco than from here. The only positives were the tortilla was cooked well and there was a toppings fixings bar so you could choose how much chilantro, onion, salsa, etc you wanted. Truly hated these tacos wish i could get a full refund. Not to mention each taco is $4.50 which is absurd considering their nonexistent taste and bad meat quality. Wish i could give them 0 stars

Absolutely love and seek out smaller “Hole In the Wall” or “Mom and Pop Shops”. This place has everything I want; excellent food, great price, smiling faces, and cozy surroundings. I’ve eaten at all of the smaller street taco spots in Alexandria/Old Town and this place by far is the best.Street tacos are packed with meat that is tender and cooked to perfection(the Lingua was absolutely the most tender I’ve ever had) and the carne asada was as well. Pupusa’s were amazing, as well as the tamales.I also like that they have a salsa/condiment bar with cilantro, radish, lime, and chopped onions to choose from.Sadly, I didn’t take any photos lol, I was too busy talking about my food with my friend who is also a Chef. He too was thrilled with the food and couldn’t stop singing their praises. Definitely my new spot and will be returning very soon. Well done!!!

I ordered 4 tacos and a glass bottled coke . The tacos came out fast , hot and were great ! The meat was tender and fresh . They have a small side bar that has fresh cilantro, onions, limes, radishes, green and red sauce etc . The Green sauce is my favorite. The dining tables and floor was clean and well lit . They have a menu in the store with all options available . I will definitely be going back

I think all Mexicans can collectively agree that this place is AUTHENTIC. No exaggeration, I don't know any spot in this area that has better tacos. I've tried many and it's hard to find. I've tried their tacos al pastor, my favorite. The steak tacos were my least favorite last time I went but I'd try them again. Their Sopes are good too and big! Their torta was filling and had everything it needed. The rice is fluffy and so darn good. I can't speak for anything else. Their fresh juices are really good too! My only complaint is the sauce bar. There is a clear sign in BOTH English and Spanish to WEAR GLOVES and absolutely no one does. When I use gloves I still get sauce on them so I can only imagine how many times people without gloves that get sauce on their fingers and it drips back in... It's not in the best area, that whole little street can become a hassle but it doesn't stop me from eating there twice a week. The prices can't be beat either. Absolutely everyone has been so kind. Super homey!

I don't like to talk bad about placesBut they need to improve the food ?make it with more love because it has no flavorKeep your tables clean for people who want to consume there.I'm sorry but I had a bad experience visiting the place. :( I hope they can improve and I hope the owner of this place can do something to fix this situation

The meat had no taste at all and the rice was salty. Please do things right and don't rush.

Love their authentic food! Service was good, although when dealing with the person taking your order felt like I was at a drive thru. I did get it, due to the fact that it does get busy when I got there there was a long line. But the young lady at the cashier was nice and friendly. Tables at the restaurant are first come first serve. So if you get a table after you order you are definitely lucky! I will definitely going back:)

This is a true whole in the wall. ?It’s on a little strip dedicated to worldly food grocery stores (and easy to miss so keep your eye out)I felt like I walked in to a family’s cookout which was a good thing! (Meaning it doesn’t feel gentrified). I took a quick look at the menu but it doesn’t have prices. I advised the waiter I wanted 4 tacos; 2 carne asada and 2 pastor however I like my pastors to be fatty so she let the cook know.I waited maybe six minutes before my food was fresh out the window. I loved how they served everything on paper plates (gave me a home-like feeling). They have all the sides you need off to the side for you to dress up your entree how you like.I sat down and listened to telémundo in the background and devoured my tacos and pineapple agua fresca. I spent $14!
