Had a hankering for a banh mi-esque sandwich and decided to try happy eatery out. Overall it's ok. Not the greatest banh mi I've ever had, but certainly the most expensive. But that's to be expected given its location. Baguette was crisp and the chicken was cooked well. My biggest criticism is that the "pickled" daikon and carrot barely had any flavor and were extremely bland. Maybe it's done that way on purpose to appeal to a larger audience than those who go to Eden center....read full review

I had a solid experience at the happy eatery. The service was quick, the food was good and the ambience was nice. I wish the chairs would've been a little more comfortable, but they were fine. I ordered the pork fried rice, which was really good, except it was a little greasy. I got the fried rice with a garlic flavor and I thought that was really good. I ordered a soup to go with the fried rice and it was ok (pretty appetizer). it was definitely good enough for me to return.
