“Absolutely loved The Beast of Blacksburg atmosphere. Best date night me and the husband has had in long time. We went on a Monday night, played the trivia game (beat the husband twice!!) and ate great food. The Breadsticks were my favorite, but all of the food was delicious. 5 Stars!“
“The Spinake and Artichoke Dip is a great appetizer. The Gyro and Cellar House Special Pizza are great entrees. It's been a while since I've had ginger ale as a fountain drink, too. This is a good place that seems to be very popular amongst the college students and residents of Blacksburg.“
“A place we visit almost everytime we are in Blacksburg. We love the vibe and the setting. Great bar and taps. My husband likes stouts and he was delighted , they had his fare. They have a great variety of beer and a big menu. The pizza is decent. We are picky and can't call it great, but it is good for the area. We enjoy it.Definitely a must check out place.“
“We strolled in after a 5 hour drive and we were looking for a spot to eat around 10pm on a Friday night. This place was recommended by the front desk receptionist at our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Location was in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. The menu had plenty of variety so we ordered the butter chicken bowl, Rich's fried chicken sandwich and black garlic & truffle wings. Unfortunately, butter chicken bowl photo didn't make it! Everyone was starving at the time. Butter chicken bowl was really good! Portion size was huge! Definitely could be shared. Don't forget to get some Garlic naan that goes well with it. Chicken sandwich though!? Was delicious and a decent size for my appetite. Would order that again when I'm in town. Black Garlic & Truffle wings were good as well paired with spicy garlic sauce & ranch. Overall, it was pretty good. I'd definitely come back again to try something different.“

Proper cork dart boards, beautiful pool tables, affordable drinks, great beer selection, amazing bar layout (quiet vibe up front, games in the middle, lots of bar seating, walk up ordering area and a killer patio), touch tunes, cool bathrooms…….do I have you convinced yet? “We went for date night and The Coop did not disappoint. The cocktails were delicious, the appetizer (we got the tater tots) was fantastic, and our entree (steak and quesadilla) were ridiculously good. Each thing was cooked perfectly with amazing flavors. We got the bread pudding with ice cream, and it is my new favorite thing. Our waitress was very sweet, and did a great job. New favorite food in town for sure!“

“I went here the first time a few days ago. Today, when it was one of 4 choices, it was a no-brainer. Excellent food, good bread and garlicky oil dip. I've had the lunch special 2x, for $10.95 + tax. I've gotten enough food for 3 meals for myself. The gnooci are soft and pillowy just like they're supposed to be, and you get your choice of any of their sauces. The carbinara sauce with prosciutto is outstanding, and you get your choice of pasta with it. I don't know how they can manage so much good food for the lunch special price. But you've got to try it.“
