So much potential to reach 5 Stars, however, the menu options, presentation, and experience at Taste need a rebrand. I had a salad and pizza when dining here last December. The salad dressing tasted very strange. The pizza and service in general were mediocre. I know some people who love Taste though, so I think developing consistency and improving is key.

I will not bother going into the details of a poor quality and over-priced dinner. What I will say is that you would be wise to save $100 and go to McDonalds where you may not be impressed but you will not be nerely as disappointed.

Literally and unboastfully we have traveled quite a bit and have eaten at many awesome places..... I'm going out on a limb and calling this out as the worst value for the money in my life. I have nothing good to say, the appetizers, charcuterie board, and primary plates were all disappointing and worth about a penny to the dollar of the $160 bill.....P.S. the charcuterie board / Cheese/Jelly (3 ala carte plates) came with Ritz crackers for about $60

Worst value and quality for the money that we have experienced in many years. I don't usually take the time to fill these forms out, but I am still so disappointed in our experience last night that I feel compelled to warn others. $40 charcuterie board only meat with generic Ritz crackers, had to order a separate plate for cheese and yet another separate order for hams and spreads..but the $40 board would have gone to waste if not ordered. Other dishes were mediocre at best, service poor and defensive nature when we politely questioned what we felt had to be a mistake. We never got silverware for every member of our party, no separate plates for appetizers or water refills. Just in general a poor experience and way overrated and overpriced for what it was.

I was at Taste for a work event at this beautiful venue. As whole-foods plant-based eaters, the chef prepared a special menu for us and it was delicious. Even the meat-eaters at our table agreed the vegan food was amazing. For dessert we had vegan carrot cake and it easily was one of the best things I have ever eaten. It was so good, that I asked for the recipe and was happily obliged. The chef told us he always tries to have at least one vegan option on his menu, so we will definitely be back to the wonderful Taste, Wood-Fired Kitchen.

Manager Jarod was excellent. Our first time here and couldn't be happier. Brought wife for her birthday. Reservation table was ready near a nice fire. It was a little cold and they moved us no problem. Food was some of the best we have ever had. Steak was cooked to perfection. Worth every penny. Great job. I like cold beer also and they had plenty of those crispy cold ones.

I had family visiting from out of state interested in renting a yurt. Our dining experience proved to be very disappointing with selection choices. We ordered king prawn shrimp and basically got “creek” shrimp instead. Wait staff assured us they prepared what was delivered from suppliers. Trout, the catch of the day was not filleted and that was not disclosed. Overall sadly a disappointing experience. As a local resident I wish I could recommend this restaurant but I can't at this time.

Food was very disappointing. Gumbo was the worst I have ever had. Other guests commented that Dominos pizza is better. $100 for party of 4. Everyone was dissatisfied with her meal. Plenty of better places to eat for the money.

Great venue. Great service. Great food. Went on a Saturday, dead atmosphere. Limited menu. 18% gratuity for two people who got to go food. Love the disc golf baskets and yurts. It's technically still "winter" in March and would be interested to come back in the summer.

Selection is limited, the food is nearly inedible and very expensive. The BBQ chicken came in a cast iron skillet, swimming in a unrecognizable juice or sauce, with a slice of very hard cornbread and some grits thrown in. The Charcuterie plate consisted of a small andouille sausage (two bites) and a couple of slices of of other sausages, served with some mustard, but the bread had to be purchased separately. “The crowning “ of the meal , the beignets - no resemblance to the famous New Orleans desert - were raw and oozing inside. Major disappointment!

I wanted to fall in love with this place after visiting the website, I love vineyards and farm to table restaurants. However, this was far from what we expected. Beautiful property and an unexpected find for the area. The Inn looks beautiful , but the restaurant is located away from the Inn. It only seems appropriate for outdoor casual eating. For Winter time they had plastic walls. Very rustic, the ambiance did not feel like upscale eating, but the prices for wine tasting and food were way too high. Small portions. Paper plates do not make any sense if you are going to charge so much for the food. We ordered the Steak for two that was $72. We got a small tray with a medium size Steak that had no flavor, a tiny salad and a small side of potatoes. The sides were yummy but not even enough for one person. If they make some improvements to the restaurant, the menu and the prices, we would give them another chance. We don't mind paying for a good meal, but this was a huge waste of money this time. Service was very good though, our server was very nice and sweet.

they have a really cool rustic setting, when it rains the tin roof sounds awesome, the wine from their vineyard is phenomenal (i'm not a huge wine guy but the Merlot is awesome), and the food is really great.

Visited the restaurant for Valentine's Day weekend and was extremely disappointed. Service was good. The restaurant was very cold as it's a basically a large tent over a really nice pavilion. The dinner for 2 tasted fine however the portions were incredibly underwhelming. For a dinner over $200 we did not expect to leave hungry.
