“My wife and I celebrated our 31st anniversary at Hickory. The food and service were excellent! We were disappointed, though, that no acknowledgement was given to our anniversary. Not sure why we were asked about the occasion that we were celebrating when we made our reservation since they were not planning to acknowledge this special occasion. We will plan to return to Hickory in the future - just not for special occasions since other places do a better job in celebrating special occasions.“

“I was at Taste for a work event at this beautiful venue. As whole-foods plant-based eaters, the chef prepared a special menu for us and it was delicious. Even the meat-eaters at our table agreed the vegan food was amazing. For dessert we had vegan carrot cake and it easily was one of the best things I have ever eaten. It was so good, that I asked for the recipe and was happily obliged. The chef told us he always tries to have at least one vegan option on his menu, so we will definitely be back to the wonderful Taste, Wood-Fired Kitchen.“
