“I wanted to give them two stars because, how exactly is one supposed to eat this food in a hotel room with zero utensils? . (Nothing but food in the bag, no napkin, no utensils). One puts their clothes back on and goes down to the hotel desk and gets a utensil pack. Anyway... after I had a way to get the food to my mouth, it was fabulous so..you got 4 stars. (One star dinged for the utensil fail). Wonton soup was some of the best I've had. Super rich yummy broth and fresh tasty wontons. Beef and Broccoli was silky and delicious. All delivered piping hot. Very yummy- just make it a habit to include a utensil pack for delivery.“

“This was our first trip to the Golden China Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at just how good the food was. It was fresh, hot, and exactly what we ordered. I had vegetable fried rice and two spring rolls, YUMMY! All four of us came home with left overs. Tonight, I finished my dinner. It tasted great again tonight. The wait staff was very attentive. Our glasses were always full. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: They had more vegetarian options than other Chinese restaurants.Parking: There is a lot of free parking. The parking lot is well lit too.Wheelchair accessibility: The accessibility ramp is right in front of the restaurant.“

“Food was top notch, and the place was very clean. Only thing is that the portions they give are rather small for a party of multiple people- we had four people in our party, (occasionally, it’s not enough for everyone to just take one), but we just ordered more with the all-you-can-eat system. You can order 3 items from each category at a time. Prime ribeye, brisket, squid, fish balls, shrimp balls are really good. Other items are delicious too. We love our shabu2, tom yum, and sichuan mala soup. Dipping sauce are also very good, especially the hot spot one.“

“Basically a carry out place, no seating for dine in. Great prices, good food, and friendly people working there. We order on a weekly basis. I'd stick with the basic meat dishes such as chicken and beef, because their cooking is consistent.“

“This restaurant has a large selection of food, large portions and fast service. Very friendly family owned and operated business. I like the Hunan Beef and Wonton Soup with crunchies. Sometimes I will switch it up with the large taste Moo Shu Pork. With large portions and fresh vegetables, I always feel I get great value.“

“The food came out quick and was very good. It was not oily, it wasn’t drenched in sauce, the flavors were on point and sauces were enough to coat the food just enough so you can still taste the natural flavors of the meats and vegetables. The homemade scallion pancakes were very crispy and had good scallion flavor. We also ordered the Imperial Twin, Smoked Tofu with Pork, and Chicken Fried Rice. You know a Chinese restaurant is good when they can cook the basics such a fried rice really well. Even my 8 year old son was impressed and commented on how good the fried rice was compared to the chicken fried rice he has had at other restaurants. My parents owned a Chinese restaurant for 29 years and I am a big foodie so I have high standards on how certain foods are supposed to taste and how they are prepared. I definitely recommend all these dishes and this restaurant. The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!“

“Best Chinese food around. Not much competition in the area albeit. Owners are nice. All the traditional food was good. I ordered the crispy beef dish and the meat was really tough, don't recommend. Other than that every else was good like sesame chicken, beef snd broccoli, etc. competitive prices.“

“Great authentic Cantonese Chinese food! I had the roast duck, char sui pork, lo mein, and bok choy with mushrooms. The best Chinese BBQ I've had in this area, especially the char sui pork! Also, everyone was very friendly and they had pictures of all their dishes if you were unfamiliar with any.“

Although I like Yen's better but this was close. It satisfied my craving. They give a big portion and the pricing was good. “I found House of Poolesville while looking for a bar to grab a drink and get some food and watch a few games with a friend. The restaurant has a few nice gardens on the grounds and the restaurant has a bar area and a sit down dining area. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. I ordered a few drinks and some sushi of the menu and my friend had two Asian dishes. While looking at some of the plants outside, a lady at the restaurant asked if we wanted to take some flowers home, which I thought was very nice. The food, drinks, and service were very good and I will stop in if I find myself in Poolesville again“

“The staff is extremely friendly and the food is the best Chinese in the area. Their Lo mein and sesame chicken are among the best I've had. I order Hunan chicken with sauce on the side and just dip to food in the sauce for a really good lunch. Prices are very reasonable. It's not fancy at all but there is room for about a dozen people to sit and enjoy their meal.“

“Food was absolutely delicious and well presented. Ambiance in the restaurant was fine- we sat along the side with a slightly raised floor that had a clear visual with shells and sand. That was interesting. The only concern I had was the slow service- this is a problem basically everywhere but it took a long time to get our lunch. The servers checked on us regularly to tell us our order was coming soon, but it took nearly an hour. Worth the wait, but glad we had an open afternoon.“

“With the downfall of many Korean-Chinese restaurants in NOVA recently, Lee Hwa is a great addition. The menu, although a bit higher in pricepoint, is varied and creative, and all dishes are executed to a higher degree than the typical Korean-Chinese fusion restaurant. The tangsooyuk and yoonringi were delicious and fried well. The jjampong was deep in flavor and offered a variety fresh seafood like crab that enhanced the dish well. The mala noodles were also flavorful and the perfect level of spiciness. Service was not super attentive but we didn't really have any problems as we didn't need anything during our dine-in. We were accidentally charged for something we didn't order but the staff were quick and helpful in reimbursing us.“

“This is a hidden gem in the area. We tried all the standard dishes (General Tso, Beef with Broccoli, Hunan Chicken, Lo Mein, Soups), and they were all top notch. All dishes were very tastefully savory without being overly salty, and all vegetables were fresh. Definitely my new go to place in the time where there aren't too many good take out places (or Chinese restaurants) to go to. Strongly recommended to for anyone looking for a decent Chinese take out.“
