“I have been to this Cafe 3 times. Each time, I have ordered an Iced Latte with sugar-free Vanilla. All three times, the Lattes were delicious. I have not tried any pastries yet, but they all look great. There is seating inddor and outdoor. If you want a really good coffee drink or Pastry this is a great place to try.Vegetarian options: Coffee is for everyone.Parking: There is a free parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: This is a wheelchair friendly cafe.“
“Was in the neighborhood running a not-so-fun errand and thought I deserved a treat afterward. I grabbed a hot matcha latte with oat milk to go and WOW was it delicious! Unsweetened, completely smooth, perfectly balanced flavor. I didn't try the soft serve or the delicious-looking shortbread bites *this time* but I'm already planning to return next time I am in Centreville. Seems like a nice place to sit and work or catch up with a friend. Many were there with laptops or chatting with one or two others. Very clean, minimalistic vibe inside but in a warm way. Also seems to be kid-friendly. I will return -- on that note, I wish that my neighborhood in the Union Market area of NE DC had something like this matcha tea house. Thanks to the friendly employees and quick service as well.“
“Their donuts are so good, as mentioned in other reviews the croughnut is one of the best. All of them are pretty delicious, you can’t go wrong!!The service could be better, especially if you don’t come often. I asked for a dozen donuts to be split into two boxes and the employee at the counter said “I’ll have to charge you for 2 half a dozen”. I told her I didn’t mind. I think it wasn’t what she said it’s how she said it. I get it they’re a small business and I’m all for supporting local small businesses I didn’t mind, but I think a better approach in their mannerisms would have been nice.Also, I’ve been on a weekend and it can be a bit chaotic and messy since they have tape on the floor as a guide for traffic, but it is a bit confusing, so you may be out of line and then have to either hope the person behind you is courteous to let you go ahead of them or go to the back of the line.Again, donuts are great though!“
“HKTH is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. You order everything from 1 of 2 kiosks and your order is ready right away! There are 6 tables and plenty of seating! The two staff members that made my smoothie and dish were helpful in choosing the right sauce for me. I first had Chinese Spicy on the side, but it wasn't spicy at all. I was provided chili oil and spicy mayo, both of which were better options, but I'd probably get the dry spicy seasoning next time. The chicken was fried to perfection and stayed hot for a while! For smoothie, I enjoyed the Coffee Oreo Smoothie with Brown sugar boba, a first for me. It was DELICIOUS and I don't even remember drinking it until I was on my last gulp! I look forward to supporting this establishment in the future!“

“When I first got out of my car outside this place, I heard nice French music, which successfully set the stage for my great experience trying its pastries.The place is well lit and nicely decorated with ample space between tables. They give you a tray and let you choose what you want from the variety of pastries in the display. Everything is baked fresh and tastes really good. It's best if you go earlier in the day, as they run out of stuff towards closing hour.Definitely coming back with friends.“
“I got the chicken pesto sandwich and taro tea latte. Very delicious! I do think it’s a bit overpriced. It was $12.50 for the sandwich that comes with a single pickle slice and a package of utz potato chips. While good, I think it’s only worth ~$8, even for the area. Very cute location though and friendly staff/great customer service.“
“I placed an order for myself using DoorDash because I didn’t want to call in and their website didn’t seem to have an order online option. When I got inside it was very busy; there was a line almost to the door and all the seats were occupied. There was a customer standing off to the side awaiting his order, so I went there to announce my arrival next to him. He got his food and left, that’s when I told the employee I was here for my DoorDash order. He looked at my screen and instantly said “it’s not ready yet” and then walked away to continue working on other orders. So I stood there in the middle of the restaurant awkwardly awaiting the next steps but was never talked to again. So after 10 minutes I found a seat and continued waiting for 15 minutes. When it got to 40 mins since I placed the order, I started getting frustrated. At that moment the employee asked for my name (which he supposedly knew all about when instantly deciding it wasn’t ready earlier). It turns out my order was ready but was set aside for DoorDash pickup.Clearly this was a miscommunication because of them being busy and the different process for DoorDash orders. Mistakes happen, but I would have appreciated a little more attention when I first took the initiative to announce my arrival. Without attention on waiting customers, we are left with two choices:1. Bother them to check in on the order periodically; or2. Wait until they close and realize you’re still there for some reason.The obscurity in the order process was frustrating and uncomfortable. A better process to differentiate between real time orders and online orders would go a long way.“
“We came in on a random weekday in the late afternoon and it was not busy.You order corndogs at the kiosk and you can order their regular menu items at the front! We got bibimbap and the mushroom/ oyster jook?/juk? ? and both were tasty!It’s a very nice and low-key place to eat lunch! We will certainly come back ☺️“
“I can go alllll across the lands for boba tea and STILL, Kung Fu tea is the top as far as taste. I really enjoy the ginger milk tea, the prices have increased which is wild that the cost of a drink is equivalent to the cost of a low end meal but, we all cave into a nice treat sometimes. Sometimes I walk in but more than often I order on door dash. At one point I ordered a ginger boba milk almost daily. I would sometimes ask for light boba and extra ginger because there is no option to choose extra ginger, to be considerate I substituted that I would accept less boba. Most of the time, the staff accommodate me and make the small adjustment; however, there is one employee who sometimes when they see my order refuse. I'm really not sure why and it seems like an adjustment that would be an easy switch especially when I also provide tip. I'm not sure if the tip goes to only the driver or the business but as often as I order there I was surprised my request seemed to be bothersome to this particular individual. To the employees who saw my request and take into account how often I order, thank you greatly, may God continue to bless you. And thank you for recognizing that you can play a role in how well a person's day goes just by your treatment to them and showing kindess. Sometimes their notes to me even include "Thank you Jazmin =)" and it's so adorable to me. The ambiance is nice inside, there is limited seating and often music. The staff are usually pretty upbeat and enjoying each other along with singing to the music which is so cute to witness!“
