“Best place for Chinese in Northern Virginia! My family and I have been going to this restaurant for 28+ years. Food is fresh and delicious. Only problem is that is so good, it's hard to eat at any other Chinese restaurant. Try the hot and sour soup, it's our favorite. Highly recommend!“
“Great experience. The food is tasty and of very good quality. This diamond in the rough establishment is everything an adventurous spirit, could ask for, young women taking the order was very serious ,self serve accommodations ,no problem(privacy)U have your own choice of seating, definitely a plus,a hole in the wall interior(not complaining). It's what a person expects, that old school, warm cozy feel.My daughter and grand children enjoyed the freedom to serve themselves and converse unencumbered.I wouldn't change it at all, except one :a takeout available sign somewhere! ?Kid-friendliness: Self serve sauces, eating utensils, age appropriate cartoons on Tv.“
“A BIRYANI PARADISE WITH A GREAT WELCOMING TOUCH.This place is a gem for anyone looking to indulge in some of the best biryanis. They also do catering events where we had Chicken Keema Biryani, Goat dum biryani, and chicken lollipops. For vegetarians, they even had Jackfruit Biryani, Paneer Biryani. The warmth and hospitality of the owner and his personal engagement with guests reflects a commitment to excellence that is truly commendable. It is located inside Lotte Plaza Market.Must try: Goat dum biryani, chicken lollipops“
“This is Sushi Umi located in Herndon, VA. It's a great Japanese restaurant that has great food and sushi. The setting is super cute and the service was great. My waitress was really nice and attentive. She always made sure that I had everything I needed. The star of the show is the "Taste of Umi" which allows you to taste several dishes. My favorites were the eel and the fish roe!!! Just when I thought the meal was over, the chef gave me an extra piece on the house!!! It was a lovely tuna bite. Check it out if you have some time.“
“Yu Noodles in Herndon is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get! I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the incredible flavors and quality of the dishes. The steamed shrimp dumplings were a standout for me, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. They were an absolute delight to eat the freshness of the shrimp combined with the delegate dumpling wrapper made for a truly memorable appetizer.Don't even get me started on the seafood noodle soup. It was out of this world. The broth was flavorful with hints of seafood essence that elevated the dish to a whole new level. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the generous portion of seafood made each bite a heavenly experience.Overall, Yu Noodles is a must visit for anyone in the Herndon area. Whether you're craving dumplings or noodle soup, this is the real deal. You won't be disappointed by the delicious offerings at this fantastic restaurant. I will definitely be back!“
“This establishment is located in a former Pho restaurant, and I am pleased to dine here because it offers both Vietnamese pho and dim sum. I believe that these dishes cannot go wrong. Additionally, I am very satisfied with the service, and the cleanliness of the place is impeccable.“
“This is a great affordable option for Chinese food in the area! The space is bright and relatively open, the staff is kind and very efficient, and the food came out very quickly. While it is great for the price point, the food wasn't very memorable. The yibin spicy dry noodles were packed with flavor but a tad oily, so the cucumber side dish we got was a great pairing. There aren't too many veggie options just as an FYI! The pork soup dumplings were good but nothing spectacular. They weren't very hot when they came out, and they didn't have too much soup in them.“
“Got it to go for family, still very yummy, very satisfying. We always have allergy changes to make, and they didn't get anything wrong, which is always nice. The drunken noodles are VERY spicy. Even the guy used to spice was struggling through them (still happy with the order, but heads up for people on the fence about spice)Dietary restrictions: I can't do onions or anything in the onion family. Sometimes, I have trouble getting them removed at other places, but not here :)“
“Here with the family for lunch. We tried three different combo bowls. Wow, amazing! Delicious and fresh seafood soup. Loved the chicken! Size of servings was more than enough to make us all fill and take some to go. Service was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was very clean. Will definitely come back here again.“
“4/5/24Our 1st day in VA for our vacation. After checking into the hotel, we needed to eat early dinner. We were actually on our way to get gas after a 4-hour drive. I noticed the name noodle house. I'm always on the lookout for noodles ? We turned around after gassing the car.We were told to sit anywhere. Then Amy came over and asked if we'd been there before. After we said no, she proceeded to explain the menu. The base Luosifen and the extras you can add. Their famous Burrito... I want noodles! LOLI got the Signature Luosifen. Love it!Hubby doesn't like noodles, so he opted to get Pig Feet and Stinky Tofu... Pig feet were good, but the Stinky Tofu... there is a reason it was his 1st time having Stinky Tofu LOL. He doesn't have a great sense of smell, so he enjoyed the Stinky Tofu. After we finished, we actually told Amy to open a restaurant up here in NJ LOL“
“Dropped in after a massage next door. I was looking for a light meal. I ordered the ThomKa soup, with shrimp and the Kanom Jeab steamed dumplings. Both were delicious. The soup had a nice touch if spice. The dumplings came with a light dipping sauce. I'll be back“
“Their food is impeccably delicious. However, the employees are not friendly and do not take good care of the customers. So it's a little disappointing. If they care about customer satisfaction, it will definitely be the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area.“
“Pho combination was tasteful. Broth got lots of flavor. Lots of meat for the size of the pho. But I am from Southern California n I m spoiled by the large bowl size. High tech for online order as the order printout machine chimes every few minutes while I was there. The minus one star was for the price n bowl size.“
“First time dining in rather than getting delivery; the noodles were even better fresh from the kitchen! Not crowded on a Saturday afternoon, and service was quick. The cashier was polite and repeated our order back to confirm. This location has two single-occupancy bathrooms, both gender neutral, which my companions reported to be clean.“
“Came on Friday during lunch time. We were a party of 5 but seated right away. The AYCE is not buffet style in that you go pick your food; you order from the waiter and they bring it out. It can take a while for a waiter to return so make sure to put in a full order while they're there. There is a fee for any food leftover so don't go crazy but be aware of the timing. For kids 3 and under the AYCE is free and they love the little ice cream containers for dessert. As for the food I recommend the hibachi and rice and edamame with most of their specialty rolls. All the sushi was good but the one with mango and sweet potato was a favorite and the fried specialty roll too. Would return.“
“Unfortunately, there are no pictures, but carry out never looks great in pictures. Not as spicy as I like, but I understand that restaurants would rather do that than face complaints from people who underestimate their heat tolerance. Short of that, I really enjoyed the red curry. The addition of the eggplant was a pleasant surprise, and the bamboo shoots and basil were generous along with the amount of chicken. Too many Thai restaurants around here simply add the curry and meat and call it a day. This was a complete dish and flavored very well.“
“I have tried pad Thai at every Thai restaurant in a 15 mile radius and I can proudly say that Smile Thai has the best. The noodles are never dry and are drenched in the perfect sauce that is not too sweet and not too sour. One thing that other restaurants struggle with is their noodles are dry, but I’ve never had dry noodles from Smile Thai. Another thing that puts me off with pad Thai is oily noodles, but smile Thai barely uses oil and it tastes amazing. The noodles to price ratio is amazing. You pay about $13-16 depending on the poultry of your choice. I think the price is great for the amount of pad Thai you get. I get so much food that sometimes I can’t even finish it! It’s nice to know that I am getting my money’s worth.Customer service is amazing! I always order my pad Thai without peanuts and sometimes when I forget to say no peanuts they still don’t put it in because they know me! The man and the woman that work at the counter are very nice and I have never had anything negative about my experience there. When I go to college, I always thing about coming back to have smile Thai because no other place compares.Dietary restrictions: More than welcome to accommodate for peanut allergies“
“Consistently good consistently clean. I probably have been here 12-15 times. Its good food for a fair price. I typically get the same thing, a butter chicken stir fry, and every time it taste great. I usually do mobile order and have always had it ready by the time I arrived. The staff are friendly and helpful when accommodating allergies. There is plenty of seating even during the lunch hour. Love going here and will continue to do so.“
“Beautiful restaurant - and one day I'll eat INSIDE! I've been picking up my meals so I haven't stayed to eat there. The staff is prompt in greeting me and the food comes out promptly as well. The only thing I would recommend is to not bag the cold salads with the hot meals. It wilted my lettuce and that wasn't very appetizing (though the salads are wonderful). So now I just separate the items as soon as I get back into my vehicle. I recommend the Pad Thai“
“As a food enthusiast, I tried Uyghur cuisine for the first time and liked it. The spices used in the food were different from what I normally use to cook, but it was nice. The hand-pulled noodles were chewy and tasty, and the recommended Cold Noodle was absolutely tasty! Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm glad I tried something new.Parking: It's inside Main Street Center and it has plenty of parking spaces.“
“Always great food. Never had a mistake on my order, which considering that I always have several changes/substitutions, that is really saying something. I only ever order online for pickup or delivery, but it is always quick. The new BBQ chicken salad is fantastic.“
“Very friendly staff and good food when you feel like comfort food. The food was hot and steamy and the flavors were strong. The booths and tables were cleaned and it was a really lovely atmosphere for spending a nice dinner with family without breaking the bank. It's nothing like Italy quality, but you know you are getting a good solid meal every time.“
“Such a great fusion spot that's open late! All of the dishes we got tasted delicious especially the Jiajangmyun! Great service and nice, clean restaurant. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for everything, a little Japanese, Korean, and etc.“
