We were out and decided we wanted Chinese food and found this spot so stopped over. The owner, great. So friendly and while we waited for our food, we noticed she knew everyone coming in! We asked to alter our meals a bit and she said SURE! She was more than happy to accommodate to make the customer happy. Such great customer service and food was delicious. Well be back.

Egg rolls were fine, not overly cooked as other places are. Ordered lo mein, thought I couldn’t go wrong with that. It had noodles and beef only. no veggies. The flavor was slightly off, so much that my kid wouldn’t eat it. Also got beef chow fun. This tasted exactly the same as the lo mein, minimal cabbage, no other veggies. Both were overly salty.

Only had their Singapore Rice Noodle and Hot & Sour Soup so far. Both tasted good. The owner always treats me nicely and the foods came out quick w/ decent quality. As a Chinese Carry-out restaurant, nothing I can complain so far.

I went to this place on a whim. I was walking out of the CGX and smelled ginger and garlic in the air. I went into Young Chow and knew I had made the right decision. I ordered 3 daily lunch specials and a few apps. The bbq spare ribs were next level and super meaty. The dumplings were homemade, and tasted like it! My mouth is watering just writing this review.
A cute little hole in the Wall Chinese restaurant in the middle of a strip mall in Centerville. Why am I not surprised that the food was great and the prices very reasonable. We got egg drop soup, vegetable fried rice and shrimp toast. All the items were excellent the owner was very friendly, definitely great value.

The food used to be very good here but our latest takeout was pretty disappointing. The egg drop soup was bland, the hot sour was very gelatinous and overall the other dishes were just not very tasty. I don't know if they had a different chef for that night or they've changed cooks but something was off.

The reason I give Young Chow 4 stars is primarily for freshness, not always great with the below average Chinese delivery around Centreville. The owner knows this and makes hers a pickup only spot. I wish the area had more Chinese variety, but I know I can always count on Young Chow.
