“I've been coming to Decipher since it opened and still think of it as a gem of our neighborhood. They have consistently excellent beer and are not afraid to try new things and have a wide variety available at any given time. I've been impressed by their community engagement: from regularly advertised beer releases and amazing food trucks to hosting a market space for Pride month and keeping up a "buy a beer" chalkboard for community members. It's a welcoming and cozy place to try some of the best beer Charlottesville has to offer.“
“Obviously RR is the best, we all know this, but just a quick note that they are also EXCELLENT for events. We had our work holiday party here this year, and RR by far was the most affordable and straightforward venue we reached out to. They were very easy and kind to work with, helped us figure out what we wanted (and actually needed) for the event, and the whole thing went off without a hitch. Moreover, our team reached out incredibly last minute, and RR still got the event coordinated and on the calendar in about 36 hours. We often go with another place in town for events, but I’ll be pushing for everything to be at Random Row from now on. Thank y’all so much!!“

“Staff were very attentive and helpful with our food and beverage selection. When it got crowded, it got a little loud but you could still hold a conversation. T-shirts and goodies were cheap!!!! Parking was good. I'll go back when I visit!!“
“Great place to meet with friends or watch the game. I had a flight, and these were the biggest pours I've ever seen on a flight very filling. Good variety of pours to choose from if you are not sure what you like there.My only concern I had was that they shared the restroom with another bar next door, and the other place was a bit rowdy. Going to the back for the restroom, I saw a lot of people hanging out and being loud. As a female, take someone with you to the restroom if you see a crowd hanging out by it just for safety.“
“Excellent beer in a cozy tap room on the Downtown Mall. This is my husband's favorite Charlottesville brewery.Outside food is welcome and they have menus from nearby restaurants at the bar counter. Indoor seating is either at the bar or at the high-top booths. They also have outside seating on the mall.“
“Good selection of brews in a great location. My good friend drove down from Leesburg while I'm in CVille for a last minute meeting and this is where he wanted to go. Didn't dissapoint. 3 pints later and I'm all about their Snow Blind doppelbock lager. Nice and malty. My buddy, on the other side, enjoyed the Guitar Pick IPA. We also got burgers from one of the restaurants in that Dairy Market area, but that's another review.“
“Fast service! I came by for the flight and the pretzel! They had an extensive drinks list and I enjoyed all of them! As for the pretzel, it was hot and fresh, the cheese dip was so delicious! The place was huge and it felt very homey! We even received free stickers for liking them on fb and ig! Highly recommend this place.“
