Do not spend up for the "elevated" wine pairing at $125 per person. For that price, we received 2 small glasses of wine and a cocktail for desert. They brought out the first glass of wine right away and then didn't bring out the first course for about 15 minutes. Suffice it to say the wine was gone by then and there was no "top off" offered. An unusual miss for such a great restaurant.

My only complaint is that I wish Fleurie would enforce business casual attire. I feel like a prude but there was a couple seated that looked like they just came in from doing yard work.

Everything was absolutely delicious! They took great care to ask about dietary preferences or allergies. The amuse-bouche was amazing. If you like chocolate... Chocolate Bomb is fabulous. Definitely on the list for repeat special place.

Exceptional food and service. The wine pairings were incredible. The portions are good size for the starters, entrees, and desserts. Very interesting dishes and bonus dishes prepared by the Chef. By far the best restaurant I have been to in Charlottesville.

Food was amazing, selected a reservation to sit outdoors which I wouldn't advise. I took a risk, and there heating on the patio wasn't quite enough to keep you warm. Will definitely go back.

Our first experience at Fleurie was unlike any dining experience we've had. The food and wine pairings were unmatched in excellence. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We both agreed it was the best meal we've had. Well done.

What an amazing evening at Fleurie. I wish I could have rated the food and service 6 stars. We celebrated a 50th anniversary with good friends and wanted it to be a very special night for them -- they loved every minute! Melissa (somm) was amazing. Our friends are Sauvignon Blanc drinkers and Melissa guided us to a very special bottle of Puilly Fume which was loved by all of us. I had the risotto with mushrooms -- which was amazing and one of the best dishes I've ever had -- and the lamb. I wanted a glass of red and Melissa suggested a nice rich Amarone which paired beautifully with my meal -- particularly with the risotto. Other dishes particularly enjoyed were the butternut squash gnocchi (like eating a cloud!) and scallop appetizers, the chickpea entree (amazingly tasty!) and the apple tart and chocolate bomb desserts. Also, an incredible array of amuse bouche and between servings surprises which were tasty and kept the foodie endorphins hopping! Over breakfast this morning we were marveling at the very attentive, elegant, and efficient service. Never intrusive. Always friendly and pleasant if engaged. Always there immediately anticipating or satisfying our every need. Everyone was wonderful! I've been to Michelin star restaurants around the world. Sometimes blow your mind transcendent, sometimes really good but not mind-blowing. While some certainly provide off-the-charts culinary creativity that is exciting and hard to match, it is a very, very, rare occasion at these restaurants that they exceed the pure delight, enjoyment, and food and wine tasting ecstasy that our group experienced at Fleurie last evening! Thank you for making our celebration so special and memorable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. This was to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the staff did a tremendous job with that, surprising and delighting us with special treats in between meals, starters and even post dessert. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried to eat everything but had to take our last dessert plate home. I would definitely recommend Fleurie to anyone who is celebrating a special occasion or just wants a culinary treat in the Charlottesville area. There's really nothing quite like it. The price point is not for the faint of heart, so be aware of that. Would I say the price was worth it? In general yes, it was one of our best meals in a very long time. Are things in general getting mor and more expensive? Yes, and this is no exception to inflation. But I don't feel like I didn't get my money's worth. Well done Fleurie. We'll be back again.

The food was perfect! It took us back to Paris. My wife's lobster bisque was absolutely perfect! The duck was wonderful as was the pike. With the new chef in residence, we'll be back soon!

Price fixe menu included many free "tastes" between courses. Every thing we ordered was fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and attentive offering elegant service (new silverware was delivered for every course). Each course delivered with perfect timing. Wine pairing suggestions were on the mark.Parking: Parking garage an easy 2 block walk.

Made reservations for my husband’s birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and they had our table ready. They took our jackets, we got seated and started on of the greatest dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. Drinks - excellent. (If you like old fashioneds, get the old fashioned!) Food - incredible. Seems you truly cant go wrong with any choice you make! And the canapés in between courses were a welcomed addition. Service - incredibly attentive. The bill wasnt cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for!! Highly, highly recommend.

Fleurie is (was?) my number one favorite restaurant, which is why I am disappointed that after having driven three hours to show my friends my favorite place, it was a lackluster experience. I never like when I sit down and the server starts to tell me all the things they no longer have available. The reservation was 7:30, a very typical dinner time. Not sure why they were out of everything

I ordered Filet Mignon. It was average at best. I suspect it was locally grown grass-fed beef, as it had little marbeling and little flavor. It was prepared accurately. The restaurant did not charge me for the steak, which I appreciated. This restaurant, which has a prix fixe menu and portraying itself to be a premier Charlottesville restaurant, was average to me. It was packed. The seating was very tight. The tables and chairs could use some updating. The Service was subpar. The staff was overwhelmed, and it took a very long time between courses or for beverage/cocktail/wine service. It seemed like it was missing staff manager, or staff manager. On a positive note, wine selection was very good, and desert was very good as well. I do not have any plans on returning.

We had travelled from North Carolina and we were looking forward to our dinner. What a disappointment! The restaurant was packed. The servers were limited. No one ever came to get a wine order despite asking for the wine menu 2x. Carte brought then no one returned. We had brought a bottle but wanted to start with an aperitif. Immediately told at 6:30 out of many things. Then by 8:30 main course had not arrived. It seemed as if understaffed and something was off. Robert the manager did comp our main courses, but it was over 3 hours of sitting and waiting. Our initial server was bubbly and sweet, the second server was missing in action and clearly was overwhelmed. I'm not sure we will go back. Dinners are special, and this night it appears from other diners was a mishap for many
