Higher Grounds is a hospital staple here at UVA. It's cheap, quality coffee that if gotten elsewhere, would have been marked up double what's offered here. They have a wide selection of classic and specialty drinks, from americanos and lattes (syrup options are vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut) to Milky Way and banana flavored drinks. AMAZING coffee- such a welcome surprise in a hospital cafeteria! The plain coffee is great, and they have an extensive list of latte flavors as well. Did I mention everything is super cheap? Also, props to the three ladies who work behind the counter & whip up the fastest drinks I've ever seen!

Really good and inexpensive coffee, both of which are surprising given it's in a hospital cafeteria! It's a little hidden-go through the cafeteria to the sitting area and you will see it in the back towards the left
