“Having lived in Charlottesville, I LOVE this place and was so excited to bring my sister here for her bachelorette weekend! We were able to reserve a table for 10 same day and had a great experience. “I believe every self respecting town needs a good ramen place, someplace woth good tonkatsu broth that dosent cost to much, and while this ramen bar is expensive, the broth is just so good. Never before have i had tonkatsu broth with as many layers and notes as a proper glass of red wine. The topping were a little sparce but what was there was very good. The noodles were firm and I cannot understate jist how amazing that broth was. The atmosphere while noisy was also very welcoming and cozy, everybody seemed welcome and happy, it felt like a community, while many other resteraunts and bars i visited don't even get close to its personality and atmosphere. The alcohal is also very good, I'm not much of a drinker but what I got (the jasmine beer) was very nice and floral.In summary, if you want ramen forget the other lousy places that will charge you $16 for a bowl of $6 ramen, and instead come here“
“I stopped by to get lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered a thai iced tea and the tantanmen and it was incredible. The tea was beautiful and more like a dessert drink. I usually don’t like a ton of spice so the tantanmen was perfect for me. Reasonable pricing, great selection.“
“I overall enjoy this restaurant. I have been several times and have not found it to be too crowded or loud. The food is good. Others have mentioned stomach issues, but I have not had any and my stomach is kinda sensitive. I wasn't a big fan of the combo sushi I had recently or the calamari, but overall I have otherwise enjoyed my meals. I like their miso ramen (my soup order) and veggie sushi (my friends' order).“
“Delicious! While in the midst of a quest, I met a friend haven’t seen in years and we traveled to this wonderful establishment for sustenance! We could have eaten multiple bowls, everything on the menu looked amazing. The Thai iced tea was the perfect compliment to the Dragon Bowl I ordered!“
