“Delicious! While in the midst of a quest, I met a friend haven’t seen in years and we traveled to this wonderful establishment for sustenance! We could have eaten multiple bowls, everything on the menu looked amazing. The Thai iced tea was the perfect compliment to the Dragon Bowl I ordered!“
“We could not have asked for a better evening at ten. Our server jack elevated the dining experience to a new level. He was so knowledgeable, helpful and patient with our questions. Every dish was top notch - by far the best meal I've had in recent memory. Highly, highly recommend dining here!“
“I stopped by to get lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered a thai iced tea and the tantanmen and it was incredible. The tea was beautiful and more like a dessert drink. I usually don’t like a ton of spice so the tantanmen was perfect for me. Reasonable pricing, great selection.“
“My favorite local restaurant! Aburri Salmon is my all-time most ordered dish. The bonus tonight was my favorite ( the best) waiter. I am regretting having left 20% instead of 25%. Next time, I will pay better attention! Thanks, Now and Zen! Thanks wonderful waiter who I think is named John.“
“This was our first time and it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and I really appreciate them sharing a birthday song in their culture with the table. The only thing would be is to add a little more seasoning to the protein for more flavor. Other than that, we enjoyed the experience.“
“I overall enjoy this restaurant. I have been several times and have not found it to be too crowded or loud. The food is good. Others have mentioned stomach issues, but I have not had any and my stomach is kinda sensitive. I wasn't a big fan of the combo sushi I had recently or the calamari, but overall I have otherwise enjoyed my meals. I like their miso ramen (my soup order) and veggie sushi (my friends' order).“
“First time I came here, didn’t realize it’s in a strip mall. Don’t let the “hole in the wall” feel scare you, it’s one of the BEST sushi I’ve had. There was a place in Kennesaw, GA I frequented called Kuroshio that in my college days that I had not been able to replicate (10 years ago!) and this place is as close as it gets. Sushi is reasonably priced, I’ve done both dine in and take out. The service has always been stellar. If you don’t mind the kind of simple layout, the dining area is pretty unremarkable, however all this is trumped by how good the food is. I did the Alaskan roll, eel roll, spicy tuna, and miso soup. The rolls are not huge however you don’t need huge rolls to enjoy the flavor. The fish is soft and not chew, and best of all you don’t get that strong “fish” flavor some other places have. They also don’t douse the rolls in sauce which I love, so you can get a nice flavor mix. I rarely write long reviews but give this place a shot, carry out has always been consistent and on par with quality.“
“Excellent sushi!!! I love the sushi bowl and the lemonade. It is always super delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the food was made in front of me, and the environment explores with positive energy. There is seating inside the restaurant, but I usually order takeout. The staff were friendly and inviting. There is plenty of parking as it is located in a shopping center.Vegetarian options: It's a sushi place. I'm not sure of the difference between vegan and vegetarian, but if I am correct in understanding that vegans don't eat any meat or dairy products while vegetarians do eat dairy products and fish, then I think fish, rice, tofu, seaweed, and soups are appropriate.Parking: It's located in a vast area where there is a huge shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There were kids playing in the restaurant when I visited. I assume they were the owners children as they were behind the counter.Wheelchair accessibility: It's located on the bottom level and the restaurant opens up to a wife area that has plenty of room for a wheelchair.“
“I normally order 2 buffets to go. They have gotten a little pricey though. Normally now around $35 total. I love their coconut shrimp. I normally have enough for 3 meals per buffet. The noodles with the coconut shrimp and blackened chicken has a really good flavor together. This still remains one of my favorite buffets to go.“
“Having lived in Charlottesville, I LOVE this place and was so excited to bring my sister here for her bachelorette weekend! We were able to reserve a table for 10 same day and had a great experience. Thank you to Caleb for making it so fun and to everyone else as well- the food, service and of course, the sake, were incredible. 10/10!“
