“Why go to Starbucks? This is a great local place for coffee and food. The staff were charming, professional and friendly.The coffees were what we needed and the egg and bacon burrito was exactly right and delicious.We were in a hurry so got our order to go, but reluctantly because the place itself is so welcoming. Next time we’ll take the time to sit by the fire.“

The menu is massive and the vibe is local and sweet. They were not kidding when they said the iced tea is good. I'm a tea snob and wow, they nailed theirs. They make it with spring water and added tapioca pearls to make it fun! Stop in. Be prepared to smile. You will not be disappointed! AND!!! If you've got road fatigue with the family, this is a great place to stretch your legs and play yard games with the kids. Enjoy!“
“It was my first time in Fruits & Roots today. Bright and airy inside, and smells of fresh baked [banana] bread and fresh cut fruit. It was soooooo good - i would come back again and again just for the smells, but everything i had was as amazing as it smelled in there! I got the Banana Bread bowl and the Beet Vitality juice. Both nutritious and incredibly delicious - and their granola is outstanding!!! Cant wait to go back and try more.“
“Glad to finally have a place to get Boba tea in the mall! I’ve had better before, but this does make it more conveniently located. No real complaints besides the powder wasn’t fully mixed in my drink and shaking it really didn’t help mix it in much. The Strawberry Brûlée tea was delicious!“

“I used to really love this place and go almost every week day but now I kind of go there maybe once a week and only because it's conveniently located but the convenience factor has taken a nose dive because of one recent development: When I pay $5 or $6 for a specialty iced coffee is it too much to ask that it comes with a lid that won't leak? It drips all over my hands all the way to my office and I have to change cups when I get there. If ya get a shipment of faulty lids why not just send them back? I'd rather have no lid at all than the illusion of a lid.“
“My son goes to Roanoke and regularly gets this. He likes the fact that he can get all of his protein in their bowls and actually used up the rest of his meal allowance to bring some home on Thanksgiving break. Got his father and me some for lunch and it was really tasty. I wish they had some of these places over in Fairfax.“
“Great old fashion ice cream with a huge selection of premium ice cream flavors. I am in love with chocolate raspberry truffle and the key lime pie ice cream. But I keep finding new favorites like the caramel machiatto and the caramel coconut cookie.“
“My wife, grandson and I ate at the new location today. It’s so new you can still smell the paint! The staff were friendly and helpful. The Jamaican jerk wrap was wonderful and the strawberry/banana smoothie was delicious. Looking forward the going back and trying something different in the near future. We ate outside since it was such a nice day and enjoyed a cool breeze while listening to some great music. Give them a try and support local business owners. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!“
