“I am on a work trip to Martinsville. I stopped by Ma's Cakes and she recommended me to try King Cropp Kitchen. I am so glad she did. The food was amazing. The service was great, my waitress was so nice. I even met the Owner. This is good comfort food. I would highly recommend. I will definitely come back next time I am in town. Go check it out!”

“Just wanted to say, got a pie from you guys back in September when I was in town for Blue Ridge Rock Fest. I’m from Chicago and ever since I’ve left I cannot stop thinking about this pizza. It was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in my life. The consistency of the bread, the crust wasn’t super doughy, the cheese was melted perfectly, and with just the right amount of sauce, which wasn’t super sweet either. I must declar that if the Krusty Krab had a pizza, this would indeed be it, because this is the pizza for you and me. I’ve had several dreams about that pizza I ate in September. I would do just about anything for just one more. Please never close. I promise one day I will be back. and I will order 100 pizzas.”

The service was impeccable, they sat our party of 11 immediately, they even helped me pick out a special drink for her (a large bowl with a live flame filled with a delicious pineapple drink and fruit). Not only was the service amazing, but the food was delicious! We got sushi, low mein, hibachi and seafood. Everything was delicious. This is by far the best sushi/asian food in Danville! “2/1/24 My first visit: I took my family to Captain Cook's to celebrate my father's birthday. It was a party of 13. The place was very clean and spacious! The hosts acknowledged us as soon as we walked in, and our table was available immediately! When we got to our table, I felt the air from the ceiling fan, and before I could say anything, the host already knew and turned off the fan! She was paying attention! Wow! 😊 Our waitress was very pleasant and personable, listened carefully to our requests, and was quickly accommodating. It was like she was reading our minds. And the food???? FRESH, HOT, and DELICIOUS! To end the evening, the price was great for the quality and quantity of food we received! We were comfortable and didn't feel rushed! Thanks to the entire Captain Cook's Staff for a great dining experience to celebrate my father's birthday. I will visit again when I'm in town! 5/5 💥”

“My wife was excited about the Steak Gorgonzola coming back to the menu, so she didn't even have to look at the menu. She was SOOO disappointed. Instead of medallions, now it has "sirloin tips." You would think they would make sure there was no fat or gristle. WRONG! Plus it didn't even taste like beef and it had a weird texture (fake meat possibly?). Waitress didn't let management know (at least not to our knowledge). The other three meals were fine.”

“We came in today to try their new açaí bowls and I’m so glad we did! They were awesome! I had the berry crunch one with added chia seeds and honey drizzle. My sister had the tropical bowl with added ginger and peanut butter drizzle. The açaí mixture was so good and not icy or half melted like I have had at most places. I’m not sure how they make it this good but I’m so happy that offer them. Now I just wished I lived closer so I could come often :(. We come in about once every 5 to 6 weeks to visit with family. We will definitely be back to try the other varieties of açaí bowls. Great job!

I am trying to eat healthier these days so, I tried to get a salad with no cheese from the Wendy’s on South Boston Road in Danville, VA and I was told... “sorry ma’am, all of our salads are pre-made and you cannot get a salad without cheese.” I guess Wendy’s is not allergy friendly and they have horrible customer service!!!! On the other hand, I went up the road to the Burger King on South Boston Road and went through the drive through and told them about my allergies and asked for a salad without cheese and they made me a fresh made-to-order salad right then and there! :) Good job BK on South Boston Road for your awesome customer service!!! :)))Guess at Burger King you can really have it your own way! :))) � � to the Wendy’s on South Boston Road. The ladies working the morning of 28 January 2025 were some of the nicest folks I have encountered in a while.
I was in about 20 minutes before the lunch rush started.

Made me feel welcome like an old friend & a VIP, though I have never been there before.

My food was fresh, hot & tasty.
I got the mozzarella sticks, small & a drink.

It was so good, I had to ring the bell on the way out!
I had never rang the Arby's bell before at any location.

The store was clean, as was the bathroom.
Well stocked in condiments & bathroom supplies.

I will stop there again next trip to Danville!
