“For several years, I have come to Braithwaite's Cafe and Gallery for hearty and delicious breakfast or lunch, served with the most genuine love I can find anywhere besides from my own mother...and Jane's heartfelt listening ear and thoughtful advice.This summer, after my father passed away, I turned to the crafters Jane and John for a solution--in the nick of time before the funeral--to adorn with elegantly etched glass plates mounted on local mountain sandstone for the graves of my late father and previously deceased brother (still awaiting a grave marker). Jane courageously took on the project on such short notice, consulted patiently with me on the design, and delivered her beautiful artwork on time for the funeral, and for a merciful price, because in her empathy, she recognized the huge importance of this to me and my family, and her unique position to be able to provide.“

“We decided to have Heritage Bakery create our wedding cake for our wedding day. The bakery was communicative during our planning process, allowed us to try some flavors that weren't on a pre-selected list, and delivered everything on time. The wedding cake, which was a 2-tiered (10"/8") cake adorned with flowers, was stunning and we ordered several sheet cakes for service as well. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but even I absolutely devoured this cake. We ordered both a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting (which is much more flavorful than it sounds) and an apple spice cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting. The apple spice cake had pieces of apple in the cake, a wonderful spiced flavor, and beautiful dried apple slices on top of the sheet cake slices. All cakes were super moist and delicious! “We absolutely LOVE Oriental Cafe! Our family has been going there for YEARS and they’ve never disappointed. We’ve tried dozens of things from the menu (including from the sushi menu) and everything has been spectacular. The food and especially the vegetables in the entrees are fresh, high quality. The staff and especially the ownership are very friendly, kind, professional, and respectful. And the prices are very fair. Can’t recommend this place enough, it’s absolutely worth going!“
