“From the moment I walked in and saw the guy behind the register with the “Jesus loves you” T-shirt on I knew I was in the right spot! The coffees were excellent. The raspberry white chocolate scones were melted in your mouth divine!! And then the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit…. Best I’ve ever tasted. ( that wasn’t my momma’s ?)! Service was excellent as well!! Will definitely be frequenting this establishment from now on! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast!“

“For several years, I have come to Braithwaite's Cafe and Gallery for hearty and delicious breakfast or lunch, served with the most genuine love I can find anywhere besides from my own mother...and Jane's heartfelt listening ear and thoughtful advice.This summer, after my father passed away, I turned to the crafters Jane and John for a solution--in the nick of time before the funeral--to adorn with elegantly etched glass plates mounted on local mountain sandstone for the graves of my late father and previously deceased brother (still awaiting a grave marker). Jane courageously took on the project on such short notice, consulted patiently with me on the design, and delivered her beautiful artwork on time for the funeral, and for a merciful price, because in her empathy, she recognized the huge importance of this to me and my family, and her unique position to be able to provide.“

Also super cool that they foster cats for a short time to help them get adopted. Teas/coffees/cats?! Can't beat that combination! On top of that we were able to buy a few toys in the market to entertain our kids on our car ride.It was the perfect stop on our car ride to Snowshoe.Parking: Park in the public garage on the same block and then take the alley to the coffee shop.“

“Looks brand new. Pumps worked like new and everything was stocked and available...papertowels...squeegee, receipts. Ground was nice and clean by the pumps... a nice change from many filthy gas stations in Virginia where you have to watch your step. The bathroom was clean. No loud obnoxious music like some gas stations nowadays. Easy in and out and spacious gas pump area. Impressed.“

“I was torn between the lemon bar and key lime pie, so I asked the cashier what she prefers and she said the lemon bar.I got the lemon bar per her recommendation. After the first bite I took, I had no words. I was left speechless. This is the best lemon bar I have EVER had. I still think about it in my sleep. 10000x would recommend. It is the PERFECT amount of tartness. Oh my. I wanted to gatekeep this so badly, but I didn't want to be selfish. You need to get it!!“

“Drive-thru was quick, service was good. The parking lot is extremely cramped and the fact that you have to go around the drive-thru line on a super tight lane right next to the drive-thru and between an atm drive-thru lane just to get in line is a bit illogical. Nevertheless, drinks & food were excellent.“

“I waited around 20 min to be served, it was only 1 person there. After she started taking care of me then 2 others came from somewhere and then they all wanted to wait on me. Still giving a 4 just because the employes were so nice.Parking: Easy access to building.“

“We were looking for a bite after leaving Shenandoah NP on our way to New River Gorge NP, and saw they did sandwiches here. Gonna go ahead and add a pic of their menu board. They got a couple options that sounded good. The two gals working were nice. The sandwiches were mid, nothing special. I got one on a hot-dog bun sized "sub roll" and pops got three slices of turkey, two slices cheese, two slices bacon on two white pieces of bread - toasted. Two sandwiches, two bags of chips, and two bottles of water was bout 25$. They got books, toys, soaps, candy, chips and sodas, and local meat and cheese for sale, and some tobacco products. Looks like a country store and a second hand shop - had some ol furniture, antique-looking stuff reasonably priced , some quilts and crochet for sale.Didn't have a negative experience, but if I'm in the area and looking for food, I'd keep driving. Left hungry and unwilling to drop another 25$ for us to get two more sandwiches, chips, and water.“

“One of the perks of working near The Corner is that Starbucks is a stone throws away. The baristas' are always so nice and welcoming even when I only stop in for two seconds. Really cool upstairs that is usually quiet and a great place to get work done. My drinks aren't always perfect but I'm always satisfied.“

“Isabel made me the most awesome Americano! I have rarely frequented this business for months-- since the man with a ponytail quit. He made the best Americanos! I stopped going because the Americanos tasted bitter! Isabel made one a couple of days ago that had that deep coffee flavor, with no bitterness!
