This little "side of the road" pizza/Italian place was "molto bene" (very good)! The atmosphere was very homey and unassuming, while the food was anything but! I got the fries with cheese and a chicken cheesesteak with bacon and mushrooms. The food was not only quick to arrive and piping hot, but absolutely delicious! Once I could actually eat it (remember, hot!) it didn't last long on my plate!The look reminded me of an old soda shop/diner and the staff was just as friendly as they were in days gone by.My only complaint, if you could call it that, was that I felt the prices were on par or maybe even a dollar or 2 higher than I'd find in a major city area, such as Richmon. However, as friendly as the staff was, how tasty the food was and how quick everything was, I'll happily pay that extra few dollars next time I'm out that way!
This was the finest Italian food in Virginia. The staff are extremely friendly. Food was made very quickly and was still hot when I got home. I would have eaten there however I had to get home to my dogs.

extremely frustrated. I simply ordered an XL pizza and mozzarella sticks. I was told it would be ready in 25 minutes but I ended up waiting 40 minutes to only be told it would be 10 more minutes when I asked for an update. when I requested a refund I was told it was too late, the pizza was already in the oven... I replied, "it's been 40 minutes..." after walking back to the kitchen (and I assume talking with the cooks), I was given my refund in cash but no pizza or decent customer service at all. i wish I could simply speak to the owner to understand what the standards are. it's very rare that I complain at all but this warranted a negative review.

Had lunch here today. They were polite and cheerful in greeting me. From the two dishes I got their portion sizes are generous. The ingredients were great, and my favorite of the two dishes is their tomato sauce. It has a nice chunky texture without being dry and it's slightly sweet taste went well with the crust and bread I had.I definitely recommend giving them a try if you are on the fence. Their small dinning room may look uncomfortable and like you are in a fish bowl, but their staff and food make up for it.
