I ordered the shrimp and Grits. I wasn’t expecting much from an empty hotel restaurant at 9 PM on a Sunday night, but I had met up with my parents who were staying at the hotel, and it was convenient.I was floored by how delicious my dish was. I’m sure it’s all preprepared in sous vide bags, but the shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was so flavorful. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant is in an open area of the lobby and there was a loud party going on next door, so there was a limited amount of privacy.

Enjoyed the seasoned Virginia peanuts (just ok), the almond crusted brie with berries (excellent), fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans and the raspberry cheesecake. Restaurant is a hidden gem located in the Marriott near Fair Oaks Mall. Not super crowded. Open and airy atmosphere. Service was above average. We will definitely go back.
