Enjoyed the seasoned Virginia peanuts (just ok), the almond crusted brie with berries (excellent), fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans and the raspberry cheesecake. Restaurant is a hidden gem located in the Marriott near Fair Oaks Mall. Not super crowded. Open and airy atmosphere. Service was above average. We will definitely go back.

Ordered house tots that should come with spicy ketchup. They came very dark like they have been deep fried twice and soggy on the inside, with normal ketchup.Ordered New York Strip medium, steak came room temperature and well done. Felt like the plate sat under a heat lamp. I had to ask for a steak knifeThis place is not good for food for the price. What a waste of my time, i have no idea why they have the rating they do. Do not eat here.

I ordered the shrimp and Grits. I wasn’t expecting much from an empty hotel restaurant at 9 PM on a Sunday night, but I had met up with my parents who were staying at the hotel, and it was convenient.I was floored by how delicious my dish was. I’m sure it’s all preprepared in sous vide bags, but the shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was so flavorful. I’m going to go back again because I really appreciated the high quality food and quiet atmosphere. The service was good too.

Good food, good service. Recommended and will eat here again on my next trip to the Marriott

I normally don't like to write reviews on yelp because I never like to give an establishment any bad reviews but this I can't help. This honestly was the worst food I've tasted in quite a while. For the price point your paying I would think the food would match or at least come close. I ordered the Lobster Mac& Cheese and I have to tell you it was pretty awful, to the point it was taken off the bill. I ordered my daughter the burger and she love's burgers and even she said it was one the worst burgers she tasted. Nit sure who the chef is but some immediate re-training on flavor profiles is definitely needed. Sorry for the unpleasant review.

The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant is in an open area of the lobby and there was a loud party going on next door, so there was a limited amount of privacy.

We had a reservation for 11 am, got there and they said the kitchen closed at 10:30 am. It wasn't really clear from OpenTable that this was a hotel restaurant, which wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing but it would have been good to know because it didn't really fulfill our needs. I don't know why OpenTable (or the restaurant) let us make reservations during a time the kitchen was closed! Terrible experience. I'm not sure if OpenTable or the restaurant is more to blame.

Overall, the experience was nice. It's located inside of Marriott hotel, very close to the entrance. The ambience was nice and it was quiet. The service was great and food was decent. Me and my wife's meal required more seasoning but was still pretty good.

I'll say that the food was luke warm/cold but delicious because you could tell it sat for a while before it was served to us. The lobster bisque soup was served with a film on the top from sitting but overall had a good flavor. The crispy Brussels sprouts were so delicious. The loaded tater tots were ok. I think the experience could have been better had everything been served hot and in a timely manner. It took over an hour to get our appetizers and they served them without silverware, napkins or plates. Didn't want to send anything back because it had already taken so long to recieve. The food wasn't bad, but it could have been better had it been hot.Vegetarian options: The crispy Brussels sprouts are delicious!

Only one waitress for an entire restaurant? And it was her first day? We had reservations for 6:30. At 6:45 I asked the man behind the bar if anyone would serve us and he said she is right there. At 6:55 still no one even greeted us. We left and ate across the parking lot at Texas de Brazil.

Service was good at the bar and table, that's where it ended. Our sandwiches were not good and the coleslaw the worst. Strange taste! Enjoyed the fries. Nothing else

We are in town for my husband's high school reunion. We moved away from the DMV 4 years ago and miss authentic crab cakes with Maryland blue crabs. Chef made us the BEST crab cakes we have ever eaten. They were full of crab meat, soft on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside. The tartar sauce was flavorful and complimentary. The fries were hot and fresh, the outside had a snappy crunch while the inside was soft and tasty. Beautiful green asparagus spears were cooked perfectly and lightly seasoned. The service matched the food with thoughtful consideration. So, so happy to have chosen to dine in!

Really really great hotel kitchen & bar. I came down one night for dinner and was hesitant based on other recent reviews. In my opinion, everything was much better than I was ready for.The crab cakes were some of the best I’ve had even after living on both the east and west coast. They were cooked well - not slimy, not dry - and were well seasoned and fairly portioned. Leaving very happy about the experience.
