“First off, Dave the owner and his beautiful wife are AMAZING people‼ They always treat my husband and myself like family. Now, for the food. My favorite on the menu is the Jamaican Jerk Ribs (served on weekends only), Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. The flavor is sooooo delicious and reminds me of true, authentic Jamaican food (because it is). The meat falls off the bone...it's just that good and flavorful. The other dish I like is the Oxtail. OMGosh‼ The flavor makes my mouth explode with deliciousness‼ The food is not only good, but it's consistent each and every time we eat there. That's the big difference between Jammin Island BBQ and other restaurants...consistency!If you want some good, authentic Jamaican food, I highly recommend Jammin Island BBQ‼‼Thanks for the AWESOME food Dave‼“
“Jazz and Fam is a wonderful small business! We had the privilege of them catering our event. The food was excellent and made with love. Working with them to ensure allergens and dietary needs were met was a breeze. I appreciate their attention to details and professionalism. We look forward to working with them again!Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate allergies, and most of the menu is gluten free.“
“I’ve eaten the jerk wings at least 10 times and they’re always tender and well flavored. Took my parents there to try it and they were pleasantly surprised by the jerk chicken wings spice level. We got the oxtail and goat combo with rice and plantains, jerk wings with cabbage and rice, Jamaican beef patty, and the Roti - dry, skip it. Beef patty was good, crispy and homemade. The plantains are a popular side and sometimes will be sold out by dinner time.“
“I don't know about these reviews because my food was delicious! I was craving beef patties so I found this spot that was close to where I was running errands. I remembered going to this hotel last year when my sister was in town but not seeing anything but a pub. Well, this is a pop up restaurant in O'Malley's. I ended up getting a drink while I waited for my food. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. The beef patties did not taste frozen at all. The jerk wings even came with dirty rice. The jerk sauce was amazing and pretty spicy. I'd definitely get both of these dishes again. Check them out!“
“Ok so I told the ladies if the food was bad they would hear about it if it was good they would hear about it as well. I went on yesterday after my flight coming from work. I kind of was a bit scared by the inside of the place and the fact that no one was there on a busy Saturday night with all the other restaurant's booming. Now as for someone who is a cook myself and have been in the customer service and restaurant industry for years. Here is my honest review. The food was great even though it was piping hot meaning one thing is has been sitting there and had to be microwaved never the less the oxtail and the jerk chicken was amazing as well as the rice and peas. I wanted to order a patty but the patty holder had no lights and the patty looked like it has been sitting there for hours i was not going to take that chance. The customer service was off the wall ladies both was awesome and I give them a 5 out of 5. Now here comes the negative and this is all with love. Maybe its the location or something when I first walked in the place did not fit the atmosphere outside. The inside gave dark and lonely I would hope the owners if they see this would apply for a grant and do a grand opening again or something to show case our great Jamaican food. as I stated the food was awesome and I know there could be more foot traffic year round if they had a good person pushing for better marketing. I wish them best of luck and would def be back. And who knows next time I may bring one or a few of my United co workers.“
