“My 1st review was 3 years ago when I stumbled across Irie! & 3 Years later their food is still consistently good! The staff is kind, the food is always fresh. I’ve added a couple more pics of the curry chicken roti and brown stew chicken. If I lived closer I’d literally be there once a week. “What a pleasant surprise!!! I had to go over to Quantico & my wife said grab something on the way home. So I chose The Family Eatery, only because I parked beside the restaurant. I ordered Curry Chicken & Ox Tail. Mmmm, I will have to say this place is my new favorite Carribean restaurant in Prince William Co.. The staff was SUPER friendly & most of all the food was plentiful & DELICIOUS. Unfortunately it's off the beaten path, but do recommend.“

“My family and I are visiting DC (African American Museum) from Bay Area, California, and I found this place.Was greeted by the owner, who was very kind.We ordered Spinach & Plantains and Jerk chicken.Very..very good. “Wow the oxtail is amazing! I can definately keep returning back for more. My only criticism is the amount of actual oxtail. At least in my platter there was very little to enjoy (2 tiny pieces without meat and 2 medium sized with very little as well). I will definately take that as just a one time concern, so it won't stop me from returning. Also very friendly and personable service!!!“
“First off, Dave the owner and his beautiful wife are AMAZING people‼ They always treat my husband and myself like family.Now, for the food. My favorite on the menu is the Jamaican Jerk Ribs (served on weekends only), Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. The flavor is sooooo delicious and reminds me of true, authentic Jamaican food (because it is). The meat falls off the bone...it's just that good and flavorful.The other dish I like is the Oxtail. OMGosh‼ The flavor makes my mouth explode with deliciousness‼ The food is not only good, but it's consistent each and every time we eat there. That's the big difference between Jammin Island BBQ and other restaurants...consistency!If you want some good, authentic Jamaican food, I highly recommend Jammin Island BBQ‼‼Thanks for the AWESOME food Dave‼“
“The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. Food and drinks was very good! We shared the coconut shrimp and I had the jerk shrimp pineapple bowl that I requested extra spicy and it was so good! My daughter enjoyed her jerk chicken pineapple bowl. And we shared the Pineapple empanada which was delicious. Generous portions so we can enjoy the rest for lunch! Fun atmosphere with island music.“
