Food was good especially the clams. 20% tips automatically added for a party of five (3 adults and 2 kids).

You must avoid this restaurant at all costs. First of all, we were served by a service employee who did not speak English. To every question, the answer was promptly "yes, yes, no problem". My wife and I wanted to spend a nice evening, which ended in disaster. We ordered spring rolls and a soup as a starter. For the main course, half a duck, Mu Err mushrooms with vegetables, rice and chicken. A few minutes later, the duck was served, cold! (It wasn't even warm!) Then the chicken, the rice and the vegetables. Inedible!!! My wife's spring rolls and my soup, which was intended as a starter, were served last. My spring rolls were never brought. We lost our appetite. You get better service and better food at every street food corner. The "Hong Kong Pearl Seafood Restaurant" does not live up to its name in any way. If only I had read the Google reviews beforehand, we would have saved a lot of money and hassle. Never, never again, stay away from this place!!!

We were guests at a large party and various dishes were served family style. Everything was delicious! I especially loved the beef dishes, but that is a personal preference.

Save yourself some peace and money. It’s true they’re not the same after covid.
Went there for lunch today and they served COLD Dimsums, dry noodles (dry from it going around the food hall on the trolley without having proper holding temperature or covers) VERY UNSANITORY! I told the waitress that the food is cold and dry, she took it to the back and put it in a microwave and brought it back.
Requested an item from the cart and it was again- cold! I told the waitress I don’t want that cold food and since I haven’t eaten it, if I could just cancel the order but guess what? No cancelling. Not to mention the carts looked really dirty.

The cart service on Saturday is good. Gets packed but the turnover is fairly quick so only had to wait is 10 mins.

This was my first experience with eating dim sum. 1st, the food was pretty good. There were a few items I did not care for. But for real, if you have anxiety, this is not the place for you, lol. We got to our table but had not sat down before the cart people came asking if we wanted this or that. I mean 5 at 1 time in the beginning. Talk about service, lol. They do keep an eye on your table throughout, and any empty plate or a child dropping a spoon, they are on it! That part was great! The squid was my favorite as well as the bok choy. The sweet shrimp was a big piece of shrimp and tasted pretty good. The spring rolls were a hit with my 4 or old grandson, and the granddaughter was not impressed with any of it, lol. All in all, it was ok. Just be prepared for the beginning when they come full force, then you will be ok. The price is per plate, so if you get a bunch of different things, that will add up quickly.

HK Pearl was my go to during Covid. Food tastes consistently good. Recently visited the restaurant for dim sum. This is one of the few places with cart push dimsum. Very busy on weekends. Better come when they open to avoid the crowd.
Vegetarian options: I like the vegetarian dimsum variety

Went at an odd time (4:00) with 6 others. We were the only people in the beautiful place. Only some of us were hungry but the dishes we ordered were great for having a meal or just a taste. The service was great and it was a perfect reunion with family members!

I was there before Covid. When I was in DC, it’s like nearest go-to Dim Sum place. They recently did a renovation

Wedding setup atmosphere was nice as a guest, not sure how much of that is from the restaurant or if most was from the wedding hosts. The food was decent and quality and taste for this big event. 2 stars for service since service can be much improved especially for a wedding event where guests do not feel rushed and to be kicked out of the restaurant by 10pm. The server has no regards for people food and things ending disposing a lot of people things away with asking. I would not pick out this restaurant for wedding or private functions unless they address these issues.

Unbelievably cold in the restaurant. Food was over price. The lady who wait on us was an absolute daytime robber.
She kept pushing dishes on to us and over sold me a $50 lobster.
