Having tried Mexican cuisine during a visit to the California Bay area, I would say this place brings a similar vibe but with its own twist. The food isn't masked with mounds of cheese and sour cream because it doesn't need to be. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even better. “Had an early lunch at Laurita’s chicken. It was our first time. The place was VERY clean and the food was DELICIOUS!! We both got carne asada tacos and the chicken tacos and they were 10/10. Extra props for the tortillas being made fresh and they were HUGE! I also saw that they have Pozole on Friday & Saturday so I will def be back for that as well and to try EVERYTHING else on the menu! The salsas were delicious. They gave us a smoky salsa, an avocado-lime, and a spicy salsa. All DELICIOUS!! Definitely an amazing hidden gem and I am sad that this was my first time trying it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is in the Breezewood shopping center off of Courthouse Rd. Where Big Lots and Starbucks are.”

“Beware of which Subway you go to. I haven't really had an unfixable issue at the Cross Creek, Bragg Boulevard, South Raeford Road, or Northgate Shopping Center locations. But other locations make me angry, such as the bad attitudes at Bingham Drive and people putting staples in my sandwich at the Skibo Road location in front of Burlington. Enjoy, but be careful when you do.”

“Found this gem while on a morning run while family. Been back twice since and will be my go to coffee shop when I come to Fredericksburg. They have a vast selection of lattes and their baked goods rotate daily. Plenty of space inside at the back and have a cute outside patio area. And then even sell used books!”

The place is so cute & clean, literally EVERY employee greeted us with a smile, they were super patient while we decided what to order, everything came out quickly & everything was SCRUMPTIOUS. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Sandwich w potato salad & added a side salad with Greek dressing that came with a roll. Portions were amazing & everything was fresh. My husband got the Cobb Salad…everything from the lettuce to the avocado was so fresh! My little one got the chicken tenders and what tasted like homemade apple sauce? Then of course we got desserts to go. We will def be back! So impressed.”

“I am currently here now and once again they are amazing with customer service. I’ve posted my past review on google and forgot to post one here. It is rare to meet a family business who takes pride in their business in a good way. The workers also work so hard and will smile you all the way out the door. I just really love it here. My favorite is the fried chicken and hope cakes. Me being from Chicago and recently moving here, it’s like a piece of home that I have in those wings. I totally recommend 1k percent. If I had a group with me I would give the entire establishment a standing ovation. Keith Lee really needs to check this place out.”
