Barnes & Noble at Longwood University

Stopped in fo a quick look. Unsure if the business model has changed or if it was because this location shared space with Longwood University, but the selection of books was severely lacking. Did not find anything that grabbed my attention. the University part of the store took up more space which was of no interest to me as I am an Arizona State fan and went to NAU.

Although it’s now summer break for Longwood University, the Barnes & Noble there still is operating and more than a bookstore. There were several sections in the store adjacent to the Starbucks Coffee cafe. A couple examples were school supplies and literary books. Today was my first visit there. Although it was almost empty, the cashier was there and asked if I was ready to make a purchase. Ema was amazing at least I think that was her name, she was so helpful friendly and welcoming... my son is going to be a freshman this year in longwood and she even made him feel more confident and excited about his choice where else do you get such friendly professional service??? She also had green hair just incase we got the name wrong she will know who we mean... thank you!!!
