19 Best Chinese Restaurants in Fredericksburg

“The only place I can find Great Peking Duck it is so delicious.“

“We are in the area for just one night and I was really craving Asian food. Stopped in this evening had a seafood soup for two seafood delight, and Singapore noodles. Everything was delicious. The only thing that really bothered me was that they charge for the homemade hot mustard and hot oil.

The place was pretty empty. Our servers were not Asian so they spoke English very well. Also, I’m used to the seafood or the special soup would have wontons in it and they do not.“

“Best chinese in the nation they have two locations. STAFFORD and Spotsylvania and both of these restaurants are amazing, flavorful fresh hot, the best sauce of all the Chinese sauces Have the best flavor you go to some Chinese restaurants and they have a weird lemonade flavor or a weird flavor with their sauce. But this place always has a sauce is right. They have the the right sauce. They have the right yellow kind of rice. They put onion and their food. They are all about flavor. The texture. The food is Krispy. I haven’t had one thing from this restaurant that I haven’t liked. This is the soul Food of all Chinese.“

“The people running the restaurant are very nice, the prices are almost unbeatable, and they have some options that are hard to find at other takeout places around Fredericksburg.

I got an order of hibachi chicken and steak with a couple extra yum yum sauces. The food needed the sauce, but that’s okay. The vegetables and rice were actually the best part of the meal. The steak wasn’t very tender or flavorful, but they did pile on the meat. I absolutely wouldn’t complain to them about it.

The gyoza appetizer comes with 8 (some places do 6 and charge more). They were really good and heated up well in the microwave the next day.

It’s not my absolute favorite place, but I’ll be back. Great service and great prices make Tokyo Express III a winner.“

“Love the beef noodle soup and the chicken wings! Friendly people and best food in the area.“

“Checked into our hotel after an exhausting trip. Ordered take out asian for delivery. The service was excellent. They noted that the order was for delivery to a hotel room and automatically added utensils and plates without asking. The food was amazing. We wish they would move to where we live!“

“China King is good for a quick Chinese takeout meal, but overall it’s pretty typical and nothing really stands out. My daughter had the lo mein and chicken with broccoli, and I had the General Tso’s chicken with chicken fried rice. We also shared an order of steamed dumplings.

Everything was good and hit the spot, but I wouldn’t say it was anything exceptional compared with most other Chinese takeout places. The portions were decent, the food was fresh, and we didn’t have any complaints. A solid option when you’re in the mood for Chinese takeout.“

“China Garden is truly a hidden gem in Fredericksburg VA! The food is always fresh, reasonably priced, and consistently delicious.. They also use real white chicken meat, which makes such a difference. Their Mala Chicken is a MUST try.. not every neighborhood Chinese takeout spot carries this amazing dish!“

“I made a mistake today and they were the nicest people about it. My mom told me to go pick up chop suey so I went to Asia Cafe.

At the restaurant, no one could find her order of chop suey. We thought it was the restaurant's fault for missing an order. So, they said they'd just take a few minutes to cook some up.

As it turns out, my mom ordered chop suey from China King, the other Chinese restaurant nearby. It wasn't Asia Cafe's fault; I was just at the wrong restaurant.

But Asia Cafe were really nice about it. They cooked chop suey within 5 minutes anyway! And it was delicious!“

“6/19/26
Last order here.
The orange chicken was huge pieces of rubber bands. The shrimp lo mien was devoid of shrimp.

My recent takeout order showed the signs of Shrinkflation. I have ordered the same items for years.
The rice container shrank to half the size. The sweet and sour sauce provided for my sweet and sour shrimp and crab rangoons was half. The filling inside the crab rangoons was also reduced by half making them almost inedible. I'll be looking for another restaurant.

Been ordering takeout from here for a few years now. Place is clean and the same female counter attendant is attentive even with a slight language barrier.

The Lo mien, shrimp or vegetable, is very good. Hot & sour soup is excellent as are the crab Rangoons. The sweet & sour shrimp are good and cooked correctly but lack the traditional peppers & pineapple side. It's still the best Chinese around and reasonably priced.

*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous undiscriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees but no one cares about the waiter/waitress names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.“

“love the food. always quick and on time.“

“Do yourself a favor and ignore the people posting negative reviews about the food from this establishment. Is it Michelin star rated? No. It sits in a typical central Virginia shopping center where the main attraction is a grocery store. Nothing special right? Just another cookie cutter chinese joint in the suburbs. WRONG! The staff is polite and to the point. Ive ordered in a few times and the dining area is always clean. Delivery? Now I live on the absolute outer edge of their radius and they deliver no questions asked. Ive never waited more than 40 minutes after calling in an order before the driver is pulling into my driveway. Lastly ill touch on the quantity of the food. Ive never had a restaurant spoil me the way Lins does. Large lo mein? Almost 2lbs worth of heaven in a to go box. Chicken wings fresh and crispy. Everything out of this establishment is done right. I hope they exist forever as they are a blessing to our community. Forget the haters. Long live Lin's Express!“

“I love this restaurant. This restaurant works hard. They are always on time and very courteous and friendly. If I could I would eat there everyday ?“

“The food here is made fresh. I drove all the way home and it was still steaming hot. Very nice lunch specials a good twist on dishes.“

“Food was ready quickly - 15 min between ordering and picking up, which matched the estimate given to me over the phone when I placed my order. Generous portion size and tasty. You're probably driving past this place and not even realizing it - check it out!“

“I want to thank Formosa Chinese restaurant for being an amazing Family run business. Their food has love and flavor in every dish. I frequented another restaurant for 36 years. They decided to change their seasoning of their dishes to more of a bland non appetizing menu. I returned to Formosa and this will be our Family Chinese Restaurant moving forward.
Formosa, thank you for the AMAZING FOOD, you will have my family business from now on.

If you want amazing Chinese Food, with good flavor that will make you want more.....Formosa Chinese Restaurant is the only place in the Spotsylvania - Fredericksburg area.“

“We have enjoyed take out from here for many years, but last night a group of us ate in there for the first time! We were not disappointed. The fortune cookie made us laugh. Will be back again!“

“StirFry88 is easily one of the best quick-service spots around. Every visit has been a great experience, with fresh food, large portions, and excellent customer service. The flavors are always on point, and you definitely get your money’s worth. It’s become my go-to place whenever I’m craving a satisfying meal. The team here works hard and it shows. Five stars without hesitation!“

“My family and I go here all the time. Maybe by the 2nd time they remembered us and they know our phone number so when we walk in to pick up the food they don’t even ask us our name. Great food and GREAT service. Best in the Fredericksburg area. We appreciate the hospitality!“
