“This place is a hidden gem! It was the very best pork Lo Mein i have had in all the places in Fredericksburg! The noodles had good amount of sauce and were not too dry like other places lo mein is! It had good amount of vegetables it was delicious with the crispy egg roll! I went for the first time yesterday and talked to the staff were so nice talking to me about their hometown in China I was asking about. I must now try all there other dishes! This was by far the best lo mein I have ever had with a good amount of sauce and delicious!!! Must try! I just put another order of more stuff again today! So far it’s the best Chinese take out in Fredericksburg!“

“The quality of food is consistent. Everything always hot and fresh. The service is always great - friendly & fast. There menu is extensive, so you should be able to find everything you want and even more.
This restaurant serves primarily Chinese-American food. I don't know if they serve many authentic Chinese dishes since I tend to stick to the same foods.
The atmosphere is clean, bright, and spacious. It can seat between 10-15 people. The shopping center it's located in looks shady (esp at night), but I've never felt threatened or feared for my life. Everyone is literally there just to pick up their food or use the laundry mat.
Foods I enjoy: sweet & sour chicken, chicken on the stick (app), chicken wings (imo better than fast food fried chicken), lo mein (any meat), steamed chicken w/ broccoli & hunan sauce, pepper steak w/onion, chicken ir pork egg foo young extra crispy, wonton soup, general tso's chicken, spicy sesame wonton, and sweet donut.“

“The people running the restaurant are very nice, the prices are almost unbeatable, and they have some options that are hard to find at other takeout places around Fredericksburg.
I got an order of hibachi chicken and steak with a couple extra yum yum sauces. The food needed the sauce, but that’s okay. The vegetables and rice were actually the best part of the meal. The steak wasn’t very tender or flavorful, but they did pile on the meat. I absolutely wouldn’t complain to them about it.
The gyoza appetizer comes with 8 (some places do 6 and charge more). They were really good and heated up well in the microwave the next day.
It’s not my absolute favorite place, but I’ll be back. Great service and great prices make Tokyo Express III a winner.“

“I’ve driven this place many many times over the years and finally stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a weekday. The inside looked clean and they actually had a decent amount of business going on. They have the typical American-Chinese menu. I ordered some really basic, American fare – Chicken & Broccoli (spicy), Chicken Lo Mein (spicy), and Egg Drop Soup.\n\nNormally when I order Chinese food made “spicy” it’s not very spicy, but the spicy food here was pretty darn hot and packed with flavor too! The soup had a nice flavor to it also, except they forgot my fried noodles to go in it.\nOverall, the food was made with good, fresh ingredients and the flavors were pretty good, for “American food.” I’d definitely return!“

“I love this place. We have ordered from here for years and plan to continue. The food is always correct, delicious, and prepared with care. I’ve had not only the soups, and traditional Chinese dishes, but also their Thai food and sushi. I am thankful to have them on route 17. In a sea of drive through corporations that serve trash, it’s nice to be able to order real, good food from a family run restaurant.“

“I have tried other Chinese Food restaurants that are closer to where I live, but won't make that mistake again! China King is BY FAR better quality food and always hot and very tasty! The people who (own/run) China King, are always friendly and gracious. Highly recommended if you enjoy Chinese cuisine!“

“We love this restaurant so much, I finally decided I need to leave a review. We’ve tried many things on the menu over the years, and it has always been hot, well cooked, and delicious every single time.
They’re hospitable and kind, and every time we’ve asked for something not available on the menu or something made specifically, they’ve always been accommodating and it’s always perfectly how we want. Thank you for so many amazing family meals for us, y’all are awesome!!“

“I want to thank Formosa Chinese restaurant for being an amazing Family run business. Their food has love and flavor in every dish. I frequented another restaurant for 36 years. They decided to change their seasoning of their dishes to more of a bland non appetizing menu. I returned to Formosa and this will be our Family Chinese Restaurant moving forward.
Formosa, thank you for the AMAZING FOOD, you will have my family business from now on.
If you want amazing Chinese Food, with good flavor that will make you want more.....Formosa Chinese Restaurant is the only place in the Spotsylvania - Fredericksburg area.“

“Food was ready quickly - 15 min between ordering and picking up, which matched the estimate given to me over the phone when I placed my order. Generous portion size and tasty. You're probably driving past this place and not even realizing it - check it out!“

“Good quality and tasty food. The menu doesn't rotate, but they do have a wide enough variety range. The prices are ok, but their portions are more than generous. They offer 1-3 entries with a big serving side of either fried rice, noodles, or white rice (is hidden - you have to ask for it).“

“Any Chinese Restaurant that uses actual Chinese Language in their signage has to have good food. The cashier was friendly and took My Order correctly. The place had clean seating. The food was hot and came out in a reasonable time. I had Orange Chicken and Shrimp Egg Rolls. It was good.“

“A great spot for Chinese food. The dishes were flavorful, portions were generous
It is slightly Americanized but food is good,
They have a boba option, barbecue ribs are soft and tasty. Wonton soup and Peking duck is a must try.
Great staff.“
