This restaurant was recommended by our trolley tour guide and as a result we had the best lunch we have ever had on vacation! The service was top notch as the menu selections were great. The cookies and milk for dessert were a perfect finish to our meal.

This place is packed for a reason and the wait maybe long but gotta say it will be worth it. Try for bar seating as a couple, seats are comfortable and the bartender, James is nothing but awesome, uber friendly, and helpful. Wife and I love it and recommend it. Can't wait to go back!!

I’m not sure why I waited so long to try this place. We enjoyed it so much, we went twice over the Labor Day weekend. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable!

Great spot for a nosh and beverage. Outdoor seating is quaint. Chairs could be a bit taller to the tables though. Nice wine selection and cocktails. We had lunch. Very tasty. Burger and Puglia toast w burrata tomatoes and arugula. Good service too!

Breakfast was delicious. The service was outstanding and the cleanliness was exceptional (even the rest rooms). We recommend the restaurant.

We finally decided to try Foode during restaurant week and rather enjoyed their special menu.I ordered the maple-sage brined pork loin with the Virginia grits, herby fries, and summer succotash. My partner ordered Rosie’s fried chicken with potato salad, picnic slaw, and the daily summer fruit. The pork was very flavorful with an excellent crust. It was cooked will without being too tough or dry. The fries and grits were good and while the succotash was not what I anticipated (warm and with kale rather than predominately beans), it still tasted good! The Rosie’s fried chicken was well-spiced and very crispy, although it was a little dry. Regarding the sides, the potato salad was mayo-based and good. The slaw was good. And finally the daily summer fruit was refreshing and sweet. If you really enjoy pan-American cuisine, we recommend this place!

The Sunday hotspot is always a favorite. On weekends expect atleast a 45 minute wait for a table. Service is average but our server this time around was confused and lost - newer staff. Overall not a bad place to eat. Plan on waiting - getting a table takes forever and service is always SLOW. The cooks make the painful service worth the trip. The only item I do not recommend is the iced tea. It is always bitter.

Our lunch was fantastic! My daughter had the hot dog and we had burgers. We each had a different French fry choice so that we could try all 3. We were not disappointed! So good!

Pretty good. Had steak and eggs. Just a little salty and not cooked to request. Everyone is nice though.

Yes , yes, and yes!!! Foode has beautiful fresh good food! This is money well spent. If you are looking for farm-to-table-food, this is the place.

I guess we came on a bad day. I was so hoping this place was as good as the reviews said but all four of us were so disappointed. We came at lunchtime and it wasn't very busy only 5 tables were occupied including ours. The service was very slow took 45 minutes to get lunch and when one the meals fries were cold which was upsetting considering how long we waited for our food. We had to ask for drinks to be refilled. The food was just barely ok nothing special the best thing we ate was the pimento cheese toast. The parking is not truck friendly but we made it work. We came here for a friend's birthday wish was embarrassing considering the experience. Lol, I now owe her another meal because this was terrible.
