The only reason this review is 4 stars is because they got rid of their Chorizo Hash.My girlfriend and I love to stop at Foode whenever we drive through Fredericksburg. We’ve been 5 or 6 times in the past year. I always get the Chorizo Hash bowl, but I was so disappointed the last time we went because they no longer serve the Chorizo Hash. We had brunch—variations of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon and my highly anticipated homemade biscuits. All was good but the biscuits were the star of the show, delicious, crunchy, tender centers. My surprise was the strawberry jam that was even better than my Gram’s. Given a jar of it, I could eat the whole thing, with a spoon or (pardon my manners) my finger. This was definitely my Saturday morning happy place. 4.5 really but it was all real yummy...Would take Away half star for: strangely thin & rubbery Canadian bacon slices, the cappuccino coming out lukewarm and not very tasty COUPLED with the lack of fish (besides salmon) and pancakes!
