What a surprise. We were in town for a fencing event and found this little place. Not expecting much. Mistake! The food was excellent, the service knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. This food is seriously good. They will temper the heat if you want. It’s small and not fancy but don’t let that fool you. This is a place to go back often. Saithong Para Thai is a hidden gem tucked inside a very unassuming plaza in Fredericksburg. We came here on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. The pandemic has been rough on small businesses, but especially Asian-owned small businesses, so we were happy to give this place a try. And boy, were we glad we did! This family owned resturant is an amazing place, beautiful hidden gem. The flavors remind me of Thailand and the portions are generous. If you want Thai hot, I'm pretty sure they can help you out. I'm a big fan of the Hawaiian fried rice with chicken satay and peanut sauce to dip it in. But there is something for everyone here and it's all good. I'm pretty sure I've eaten everything here as well!
