We ordered takeout for a deep dish pizza to bring home over 40 minutes away. Of course the sharp turns and bumps in the car are going to slide the cheese and ingredients of the pizza around in the deep dish style crust. The staff cannot be blamed for that. It was still tasty and yummy deep dish and I've been to Chicago. Sammy T you should be proud of yourself and all that you do.
We ate at Sammy T's in July on a Saturday late lunch for 2. No wait, but it would have been worthit if there was. We shared the order as food was plentiful. Brocolli and crispy tofu with pickled red onion was a 5. Side salad greens were fresh, but carrot slices were not.

We stopped in yesterday to have a drink and an appetizer. It was wonderful. We were within the happy hour specials and also tried the quesadillas, which were excellent. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
