“My husband and I were lucky enough to stumble into The Goochland Restaurant this morning. Living in goochland my whole life, I had always been a Satterwhite’s girlie, but I may have found my new fave. Christine is the sweetest soul who only wants to put goodness into the bellies of our community. Between the sourdough bread samples, the homemade sourdough pancakes and biscuits, and homemade fruits compotes, not only does the food taste heavenly, I feel even better having eaten it. Please do yourself a favor and stop in and sit a spell and try whatever Christine recommends. Everything is delicious and she will brighten your day!“

“Are here on my way through town and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a smaller restaurant, but seemed to be super popular among the locals. I had the Southern Burger and it was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted delicious and the staff were all friendly. Price was on par with what you’d pay out at any mid-priced American Fare restaurant, but is locally owned and operated. Would definitely come back if I was in the area. Expect to pay somewhere between $20-30 for a meal (except steak) and a beer or wine. Great choice!“

“My family (11 of us total) ate here last night. We were served quickly and had plenty of space. The pizza, wings and appetizers were excellent and our waitress was awesome. Parking is easy and there is a huge parking lot. “Very nice little restaurant on the side of the road. Enjoyed spending time with old friends and acquaint family style southern restaurant. Everything was a bit salty to my taste, but overall enjoyable for a home cooked meal of southern charm. Make sure you're paying attention because you can drive right past it“
