Great place with a new twist for a vineyard. Virginia has dozens of vineyard, most of which try to be stylish and slightly pretentious, but not this wonderful destination. F&F offers a wonderful selection of wines (my favourite is the Merlot) and they also offer a wide selection of locally sourced microbrews, ranging from stouts, porters, IPAs and cider. Fantastic vibe here! Staff very friendly and efficient in their service. Wines are very good and although I didn't try any, there is an assortment of beers as well. Plenty of games and seating areas both indoor and out. Great place to connect with friends, spouse, partner, family... big group or just you, try it! You'll be glad you did.
This winery has just been open 2 and a half years. I did the heavier reds tasting. Started with Sadie's red which was nice. Then the Petit Verdot. It had a good flavor but not the power I expect. Then the Syrah. I was excited when they said notes of leather but did not get that. It was more of the dark fruit. And finally the Cab franc. It had the smoothness.
