I fear now i will never eat a better one. ? so delicious. the service is outstanding. and the atmosphere is very comfortable. this was my second time eating lunch here, I will return. some may complain about the price but, great food comes at a cost. “Somewhere earlier someone posted about how great their onion rings are at Hilton Tavern. I tend to take a dim view of praises for onion rings; however, presently I am sitting on their back patio with their rings and a beverage. (Photo is after I had eaten about half of the order. )Their rings are OVER THE TOP GREAT!I highly recommend Hilton Tavern!!!!Sarah, our waitress, is awesome, quick to check on our table out on the patio in a timely manner and and ensure that her customers are well cared for.They are very pet friendly ... dog tested and approved!“
“Decided to go here on Tuesday with my co workers. Someone recommended this place to me so I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! We went around 12noon and there were only about 6 people there. We were seated right away of course. The place has a nice vibe to it. It has nice decor as well. I went to the bathroom before we ordered and it did need some work but not bad. The waiter was very informative and sweet. They place had an old country feel to it. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was delicious! The fish was fried to perfection and the fries were home made. They had the most tastiest tarter sauce I've ever had, it was from scratch and FANTASTIC! They need to bottle it and sell it. This place is down the street from Naval Station Norfolk which is where I work so very convenient. My friends food all looked delicious as well. They had a mimosa menu but we didn't try and but they sounded great. Overall this place is amazing! Try it you won't be disappointed.“
“Very very cute place to grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Pleantg if seating. I loved the open prep area i thought that brought a refreshing side to my experience. Staff was really friendly and made me feel so welcome. I didn't get a chance to try the wine selection but i do plan on going back. Also meals we affordable definitely did not break the bank. All in all great food great people and i definitely recommend.“
