“We were so impressed to find a Mexican restaurant near us that has great food at reasonable prices. We were happy to find a place that doesn’t automatically cover your food with jalapeños and cilantro! That in itself was a big win for us! We ordered a taco salad, Texas nachos and seafood burrito and have enough left for at least another meal. I would definitely recommend them. They have found 2 new, soon to be regular, customers!”

“The sweet treat experience starts with the atmosphere, you are greeted with a smile and it is genuine! The treats are delicious, homemade, fresh and Sinful in the best way. The owner and her family work there daily so when I say family owned and operated I mean everyday they are there working to bring amazing desserts to their customers. “We spent a couple hours at Cibus Chophouse tonight as an Hampton Alumni Chapter! Awesome service and great food - plus good wine selections! We reserved the enclosed patio and had a great time! The wings, meatballs, shrimp and the burgers were great!”

“The staff were very nice, and I really enjoyed the venue - an older house converted into a bar. Very cozy. I can't say I love their cider, though. Maybe it's just a different style of cider, but their cider felt much too sugary and not nearly as boozy as I'm used to, nor as I prefer. This is consistent across all of their ciders, including the cider I was told was the "most dry." Perhaps it's intentional, perhaps it's a regional thing, I don't know, just not my cup of tea.”

“This is a great Thai restaurant in Hampton! I have eaten here twice and not been disappointed either time. The curry is so flavorful! The first time I ordered, I didn't end up getting my food as spicy as I normally eat it, but the broth ended up being so tasty that it could just have easily been soup. The pineapple curry I had today was amazing. Fresh tasting pineapple and tomatoes in curry! Great value for amazing food!”

“Good Italian food. When I eat in, the waiters are good. When I get takeout, I have to go inside to get my order within a reasonable time instead of having it delivered to my car. The takeout people often ignore me when I'm sitting inside waiting for my order even after I told staff in waiting for my order.”

“Had the general tso chicken. It is my measuring stick for Chinese restaurants. Definitely top 3 in the area. Good portion size and not too muck sauce. Rice was perfect, not too sticky. Spring roll was crispy and light. Needed to find a local "go to" place and this looks like it!”

“My husband and I saw this place and we're a little skeptical to order but we are so glad we did order! This has been our go to place for the last 3 years. We have tried other places and they just didn't live up to the flavor of this place. We have ordered from Door Dash so many times in the last 3 years. Our go tos are The chicken and shrimp hibachi, AK 47 roll, and a few others. We move next week and we're definitely going to miss them.”

“The staff were pleasant and kept up with taking plates quickly. So many buffet tables. 5 plus the Mongolian Grill and Sushi station. The Lo Mein and Mei Fun were very tasty. A tiny bit cold but that's to be expected at a buffet. They are constantly up keeping the tables , which is nice. They have a large salad and dessert selection. There is something for everyone; vegetarian , pescatarian and meat eaters. Excellent choice during lent if you're going to eat out. I was not a fan of the olives or the pickles, but that is just a flavor preference. The Eggrolls and Egg Foo Young were delicious. Highly recommend. Quality food and many options with affordable prices. We plan on going back again next week for the dinner buffet.”

Grand daughter got egg rolls and bought grandma fortune cookies. They weren't cheap with any of their sauces. They have what you needed and didn't limit it to two per person . Both only cost $17 works for me on a budget!”

When we got there, it looked like our server was the only one working besides the cook. But wow, they did such a great job, even though it was obvious they were both stressed out. Now let me tell you about how great it was...At Waffle House #2370, there were about 5 tables of customers and only the two people working while others were on break. Yet the cook (Alicia?) just kept cracking eggs and getting orders taken care of. After we waited for a while (understandable), our orders were taken by the sweetest server. Not only did she get our complicated order in, she also helped us save some money by making it a combo.When the hashbrown bowl, hashbrowns, and waffles came out, they were so delicious! The hashbrowns and bacon & cheese hashbrown were cooked to perfection. Maybe we were very hungry, but those potatoes and cheese and everything else just created such a perfect breakfast melody at 2 in the afternoon that they were gone in about a minute. Now the waffles. The waffles at Waffle House #2370 were amazing. I don't know if they have superior waffle batter to other Waffle Houses or what. Maybe it is because of the cook's experience, but wow. Those waffles at Waffle House #2370 were so delicious! They captured the whipped buttery spread perfectly and held it with the syrup. They were perfectly crispy and fluffy at the same time. What a great place to eat waffles!I'm proud to say that the most southern Waffle House on the Virginia Peninsula, Waffle House #2370, is a great Waffle House and worthy of such distinction. Highly recommend!”

“One of the better McDonald's around. Most definitely do not go to the McDonald's on Mercury in the food Lion shopping center with 0llie's. they are terrible. I had to go back four times before my order was right and they made me wait until the line was down each time a total of an hour and 20 minutes. This McDonald's on the other hand was great”

Honestly I was worried when I walked in to see only one worker but Talisa V did an outstanding job providing customer service and cooking my meal. She’s also the only person to tell me about the IHOP rewards program, and I’ve been going to IHOP at least once a week in another location and never once heard about this program. Hats off to Talisa for being such a kind human being and hard worker!”

“This was the cleanest McDonald’s that I have been in in a long time. The ladies at the front counter were very sweet and friendly and the food was actually good and prepared as ordered. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bathroom break and we were pleasantly surprised. It’s nice to receive good service in todays world at a McDonald’s.”

I would highly recommend both of these sandwiches ?! This is one of my favorite spots in Hampton because you can get a snack and then walk along the moat to the shores!”

“I recently discovered this place and it'll now be one of my favorite bakeries to visit. The owners are nice, there's not much space to sit around, but the desserts are delicious and so worth it. It doesn't hurt that everything is reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend. I would advice going before 3pm tho, they're sold out of most things in the evenings”

“Thai food is my favorite and I love trying out all the different Thai restaurants in the area and this one was very good! I was seated quickly on a busy Wednesday during lunch and my order was taken by the only server in the place. She seeker to have a rhythm down of getting food/drinks/menus all out to everyone in a timely fashion. First time here and I guess at lunch everyone gets a salad. I thought the dressing was delicious! Not sure if you get it at dinner or what. For food I ordered the fried spring rolls and they had great flavor. Usually I don't find Thai spring rolls as yummy but these hit the spot. I also ordered a chicken stir fry dish (can't recall the name) and it was so tasty and had the best fresh grilled flavor. Also a very generous portion and heaping portion of rice. Lots of seating inside and good for groups. Decor isn't amazing but who cares when the food is this good!”

“This was my first time here, we decided to give it a try because it was opened late and we had been craving Mexican. We were seated immediately and brought a basket of chips, side of salsa and a special dipping sauce that ive never had before. It was amazing! We ordered and the food came out very quickly, I ordered the Burrito Mexicanos, my youngest son ordered the California Burrito, and the oldest ordered nachos, my husband ordered the fajitas. The portions were huge and the food was delicious, the waiter checked on us several times during the meal and kept everyone's drink full. The restaurant itself has a fun and lively feel to it, and the menu is extensive so I can't wait to go back and check out more of the menu”

We went to four restaurants that were all closed?Our last ditch effort to not be in the car with a two-year old, and a four-year old, who were having an existential crisis owing the the certitude of starvation was this McDonald's...I can say that this location was the best McDonald's I've seen in my 38yrs..The building and property were well maintained and clean. Even the bathroom was spotless.Ste associate that helped us was a gem. She was a sweetheart to our boys. They brought our food to the table.The order was correct! No single issue. They even included sauces that we'd forgotten to ask for. The food was freshly and quickly prepared. “I came to Baked today on a friend’s recommendation and I am already hooked. I eat a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and theirs is the BEST! They chop up the bacon and it was cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly as well. This is not just a pizza place, they have breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream, a big wine bottle selection, full bar, gaming play area and cozy corner. It has it all!! I will be back to work from here and enjoy all they have to offer.”

I had to stop working to go downstairs and get my food because the driver said he could not walk up the stairs. I have eaten a lot good crab cakes, but Fertitta’s has the BEST crab cakes in Hampton Roads hands down and they are well proportioned! Their menu is full of delicious comfort foods and you get your money’s worth! Fertitta’s restaurant is family friendly, the wait staff was amazing, and the owner Donavon was very attentive and made sure you had the best dining experience possible! “Visited Hampton, VA on a business trip and Bar Louie was within close proximity of my hotel. The first night I ordered the New Orleans Pasta and a side of Zucchini and this meal was delicious. The second night, I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and had an Espresso Martini afterwards. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Will definitely go back if I return to Hampton for any reason.”

“Personally, I LOVE the Beefeater (basically a French Dip with Aujus). My hubby loves the Reuben. Both sandwiches are loaded with meat. Personally, I take about 1/2 the meat off of my Beefeater. (I don't like as much meat on my sandwiches) It is all my husband can do to eat half of his Reuben. While I find a $13 sandwiche with a small bag of chips to be a bit expensive, I justify it by remembering those sandwiches are 2 meals! My only complaint is that they don't answer the phone when they are busy.”
