“I discovered Sam's last year when my daughter entered her Freshman year at JMU. Every time I visit , the food is fresh and flavorful. I always have them deconstruct my sandwiches for traveling because I have to take food back to MD for friends and family. Great value too !“
“The food was good, I had a "punkle bengine" and that was great, i also had a limited edition "the chili popper" it was good too. The service was excellent, this blue haired mf was funny and considerate. “We came here after some exploring around historic Harrisonburg and were craving a snack of onion rings and fries. We ordered the chili cheese fries and onion rings along with some soda. The feel is definitely a diner feel and we enjoyed sitting at the counter and chatting with the service staff.The food came out fast and was made to order. The cheese on the fries is like a nacho cheese taste and consistency and the chili is a meat chili that has a slight kick which was perfect with the cheese and perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries. The onion rings were also cooked perfectly and while had more of a beer batter feel it was not overly thick and had a nice crunch.This was perfect for what we were looking for and we would definitely come again for both the food and the friendly staff!“
