The food's fresh and Tony personally never misses an opportunity to greet his customers.I've never tried the entire menu, but I'm good with my staples of a couple of slices of pizza or caprese or the steak and cheese or chicken Caesar salad.Love the staff who make the place run, and it's the same folks year I and year out. “Il Faro is a very good restaurant. I love the Chicken Marsala here. Extremely tasty. A different spin on it as they don't use spaghetti as the pasta. The chef uses penne pasta and it absorbs the flavors of the sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and the organic chicken well. The chicken is extremely tender and the chef consistently delivers this dish in the three times we have been here since they took over after Mama Mias closed. I also want to note they do the appetizers well. We enjoy the mozzarella sticks and the meatballs. You can tell the mozzarella is fresh since it doesn't have that frozen taste and the sauce to dip in is very tasteful. As for the meatballs, they are beef based but the chef adds a great flavor of the tomato sauce and mozzarella and they add delightful bread to soak up the remaining sauce and cheese after you enjoy the meatballs. The pizza is a thin crust cooked toward the under side so no browning on the cheese. It is a NY pizza in the finest of traditions. You will enjoy it. Service is top notch. I mean 100%. We go in and we are 100% satisfied with the service. Waitress is efficient, smart and completely interested in making sure you have a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“This is a wonderful five star restaurant! Some of the most delicious comfort food that you could ask for! I was greeted quickly even though it was the busy diner time at 6:30. Nice vibe and energy- other guests had great looking food and seemed to really be enjoying their meals. And when you walk in and are hit with that delicious smell you know you've made the right choice. I took a seat at a booth, comfortable and clean tables. I mostly knew what I wanted so I quickly ordered a soft drink and 12" Philly cheese steak with a side of onion rings. It was a lot more food than I realized. Very fair portions for all the food. Nice quality meat and cheese on the sub and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. The onion rings were cooked properly with nice meaty pieces of onion inside. Take a look at the menu and when you're anywhere near this restaurant come on in and give them a try. I'm already looking forward to my next visit - maybe I'll try a pizza .“
“Wow! Amazing Italian sandwiches. I normally post pictures when I’m reviewing food, but it smelled so good and we were hungry. The baklava had a wonderful crispy balance with the moist sweet bottom. Definitely the best sandwich shop in Manassas.“
“First off, this is a counter order, serve at table place. You can order just a single slice if you're in a rush. Definitely a casual vibe. But the food takes it up a notch for me. We've had dinner here several times over the last couple months and very much enjoyed the food and experience. We ordered their NY style pizza and found the toppings generous in the meat lovers pie. Drinks are self-service.“

“This was our first time here, and we live 5 minutes away. Such a GREAT experience! The food was wonderful—had the agnolotti, pizza, and cheesesteak. Perfection. My only gripe is that I wish there was music (we dined at 2pm). The service was impeccable!! Rubi was not only very knowledgeable, but super attentive (everyone we encountered was). They are usually busy inside especially on Fridays. which can be understood for having to wait longer as some reviews mentioned. Talked to staff and owner a couple times and he seems to be heavily involved in the business and management. A knowledgeable man who can talk about the craft of how the pizza is made/ ingredients. The doctor, myself and the other employees love this place.Must try: the garlic knots, chicken parm, tortellini.The tomato sauce used on the chicken parm and spaghetti is so good! Dr. Fredrick stated that it tasted homemade and reminds her of the food she had while visiting Italy. We will order from them again.“
