Never going back to this place! We ordered chicken wings/drums combo and the chicken was overcooked and dry. Please save yourself some money and don’t go here! I don’t even want to give 1 star but oh well….

Received very friendly service here, and the seasoned fries were excellent. However, the boneless chicken tenders were VERY small compared to every other BonChon location I've been to, and only about halfway covered in the sauce, which was disapointing. This location seems to cater almost exclusively to take-out.

Ordered bulgogi fried rice that looked like the picture. The rice was all mushed together in one big clump and had no flavor. I also got an order of wings that were fairly decent but definitely smaller wings then I remember from a different location, I will not be going to this location again... Update the rice was so disgusting I could not even eat it. What a waste I would give this place a negative star for flavor if that was possible

This used to be the best BonChon in NoVa, but has declined precipitously. Rice is inedible, fries are a soggy mess, and the chicken (while still tasty) lacks any crunch at all. Stay away; you'll do better at Popeye's. I see from other reviews that BonChon corporate had promised to discuss with the Herndon store their declining quality; obviously, either they have not had this conversation or the current franchisees are not listening. The corporation should just close this location; it is hurting their brand.

Cannot recommend this location. Probably the dirtiest restaurant I've been in. Tables were dirty and I actually got something on my pants from the chair. The floors were greasy and slippery, and don't go to the bathroom, if you really want to be able to eat.. service was abysmal, I ordered a drink and never received it. Food was just ok. I won't be back.

It's too bad that this location is so bad because it's closer to me, but I have to go to Reston to get proper bonchon chicken. The location itself looks shabby and disorganized compared to others, the quality of chicken is bad (dry and not cooked to bonchon standard) and I barely got any sauce with just a few dribbles. Bonchon is great, just not this location.

I will never recommend anyone to eat at this location. The chicken wings are so small and not crunchy at all. Both the soy garlic and spicy sauce is also very mid. If you’re looking for quality chicken, go to either the Fairfax or Leesburg, VA location. The first photo is the wings from Herndon, and the second one is the wings from Fairfax. You can see how small and dry the chicken was vs the one from Fairfax. Don’t waste your money here.

All these 1-star reviews are accurate. The quality has degraded to ground zero. Fried wings are super dry and taste bitter. I couldn't finish it and threw half away. And they are expensive. Waste of money for that kind of quality.

I usually order from another location and mistakenly ordered from here. I figured what's the big deal, Bonchon should be Bonchon. Opened the box and was like, what the heck is this? Came to yelp to see if others had the same experience and see a bunch of 1 star reviews. Makes a lot of sense. This was not Bonchon chicken. Not sure how this place is still open.

I am a frequent customer of another location of this restaurant. I always order the same thing: wings. I came to this location because I was in the area and craving the wings. Unfortunately, the reviews are accurate. The food at this location just does not hold up to the other locations. The chicken didn't seem twice fried. They were were thrown haphazardly into the box so there was sauce smeared everywhere. I ordered for half & half and the wings are separated in layers with wax paper which just resulted in them getting mixed up. I'll be sticking with my favorite location. Oh well.
Trust all the other one stars. Do not go here. Drive the extra miles to go to any other location but here. This is the worst bon chon ever. The wings are so small. It's never hot when picking up. I swear they buy the wings from the giant next door.

Chicken sizes specially wings have shrunk by a lot. Drumsticks are still large but dry, not what it used to be, crispy and moist. Disappointed.

Skip this location!!! I have been to many other locations and this one isn't definitely not up to par. There was barely any breading on the chicken, and very little to no sauce on it. It was overcooked also... Not worth the price! Don't charge the same as other locations if you are not doing the same product.

I used to love Bonchon when I lived in VA about ten years ago. I have been back to two recently the first in Sterling and the second in Herndon. First they were both dead, no one there. Now I know why. The one in sterling was just OK. The one in Herndon was awful. Walk through the door to see a kid sitting at the bar on his phone. Did not acknowledged me. I ordered wings and fries to eat in. The chicken came out luke warm and looks like it had been fried, fried, put in the freezer, taken out and fried two more times before making it to me. It was awful. I asked for salt for the fries. The guy comes out with a small plastic cup with what appears to be salt. No matter how much I put on my fries there was no taste. I tasted the "salt" and it had no taste. At that point I just left. Stay clear of these places. They have turned to crap.

Let me start by saying that I love Bonchon chicken, I love the DC location and I love the Annandale location. Thinking that this location was the same quality as the other two that I have been to, was a big mistake. The chicken was way over cooked, wish I would've just got my money back and went somewhere else. The cleanliness of the place was also questionable. The tables were sticky and not clean at all. Seriously disappointed having spent $40 on a meal that I ended up not eating. Do yourself a favor and skip this location.
