Whatever you do, DO NOT order a combo platter for lunch - it's too much food! I'm a big eater and I usually need more than the usual meal portion. The combo was too much food even for me. Service was perfectly pleasant. Food was good. I feel like the flavors were a little sweeter across the board than I'm used to with kabobs, but it was solid. Meats were grilled to perfection, of course.

Middle Eastern spot with standard wrap/platter options, close to Dulles Airport in a strip mall. Food is average; they pitch their gyros but the meat was quite bland (though it was tender). There isn't much seasoning or sauces in their wraps (basically you just add white sauce as you like), but the tandoori breads (which go in their wraps) are hot and fresh.

Been in the mood and since I had the best Gyro ever last week at Grill Kabob Express in Manassas, I thought I’d go back to the OG in Herndon. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as good as I’d remembered. The Gyro I got yesterday was not that great. I’m still not sure if the two are affiliated but the Gyro here in Herndon was $11.99 and the one in Manassas was $9.99. Here in Herndon my bread was prepared fresh and the meat was pulled from a chaffing dish in a steam well where it must have been sitting for hours because it was basically steamed. I’m used to the meat being freshly sliced right from the spit on to the sandwich. You have the nice char and some bits are crunchy because of the heat, while still flavorful and juicy. The steamed meat I got yesterday was bloated and almost mushy texture. The flavor was diluted and it was put on a bed of lettuce. There was like one piece of onion and zero tomato. I asked for the sauce on the side and I was given a squeeze bottle from the fridge that was so dirty and clogged, I had to clean it myself with napkins before any sauce would come out. The table I sat at was equally as dirty and I had to clean it myself which I don’t mind, however the place was empty. None of the tables appear to have been cleaned. I did come around 2:45 or so and clearly after the lunch rush, but still. I’m hoping this was just a one off bad day and not the current common practice here. I’m not sure I could go through this experience again after usually getting such a quality Gyro.

I am a regular client of this restaurant because I like the food but today was a very disgusting day, when halfway through the meal I pulled a long hair out of my mouth, I cautiously told the employee behind the counter, and without caring, she told me that I had already eaten so much that she could only give me some of rice and or Chiken to fix the problem. It is a very poor quality place, with no respect, I asked for my money back and he the owner threatened to call the police, and he asked me not to come back, when the The employees do not have a cap or a hair net, it is unhygienic, and I would like the health department to inspect that restaurant, because just as they treat a customer in front, how will it be behind?Dietary restrictions: Na

Grill Kabob in Herndon exceeded my expectations with its delicious offerings. The beef and chicken were incredibly fresh and juicy, leaving my taste buds satisfied. This place is around the corner from the office and it's a-okay. For some reason I don't come here a lot. My go-to tends to be the lamb kebab and it's ... well ... a-okay. But consistent.Like many kebab joints like this the service is very transactional. There's not a lot of fluff, smiling, or other shenanigans. If your local 1950s diner served kebab, I imagine the service would be much the same. But that's OK, I'm not here to make conversation... I'm here to eat.Would it eat here again? Sure! Happy to stop in if anyone would like to go. Will I suggest it? Eh... maybe not. Unless I've got a serious hankering for kebab like right now. I suppose it could happen.

First time ordering at this restaurant. I ordered the Lamb Kabob: the rice was undercooked and very dry, the lamb was well seasoned, but overcooked, the customer service was none existent. The person working behind the counter was on the phone taking a personal call the entire time I was there to pick-up my order. It was not a very pleasant service or meal for the price.
