The location is good. The management of services is very poor. At the busy time of the day ( and I know they know) they appear to be UNPREPARED. I have left on many occasions because of the slowness which I attribute to poor management OVERALL. Today was not any better (early Saturday) . Someone infront of me left w/o being served. PLEASE get it together.

Visit 03/10/24. As before with my post a week ago, the place was very clean from floors to tables and chairs. In South Hill, that is refreshing when I have visited. Other fast food restaurants in town over visits to South Hill tolerable but not as clean as Hardee's inside. The staff at Hardee's continues to show a friendly position and provide good service along with good food.Hardee's has stepped up with changes to their hamburger patty and fries recently. All the burgers are Angus Beef, according to staff. It is somewhat thin and pre-pressed, average in flavor and still large enough to fill the bun. The burger I selected, the Famous Star, sits on top of the chilled lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles on a mayonnaise spread on a dependable bun that recently has been upgraded to hold its form better while eating. The French fries are no longer the string version, changed to the crinkle/wavy version, a little more potatoes and seasoning flavor. Good when fresh. Ketchup optional.Let us not forget about a nice apple pie turnover Hardee's offers to finish off the meal. Quite good, tasty and warm,for the offering.Hardee's has a good variety on the menu. I have had their chicken sandwich some time ago and was not impressed with the chicken patty. What was pictured on their food menu board was not what was provided. Hopefully Hardee's will eventually reconsider an alternative patty, a better patty for their chicken sandwich. That of course is my preference, but may be satisfactory to others. Their chicken strips and chick are good.Hardee's restrooms are usually clean. I have not used it anytime recently, but in the past, they have been adequately clean, again, better than some other fastfood restrooms. Lighting could stand an upgrade for better vision and comfort.Parking: free parking available. Wide lanes for cars to pass each other in the parking area. Handicapped parking alongside the building for access to the closest door entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: I assume the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair. The handicap parking area provides proper access to the sidewalk to the door. Couple of tables are available, if not occupied for wheelchair patrons.

Where's the cashier? Oh, they didn't have one for the moment, and folks were told to go to the drive through. What if I walked to Hardee's today? Management thought it was a good idea to yell over customers, and repremand the cashier for leaving on her scheduled time in the midst of service, because she was the only cashier. I'm confused...I liked the chicken tenders, they were crispy and juicy, well cooked. Fries were good. The Famous burger was decent, just don't advertise it as thick, it wasn't, didn't even cover the entire bun, almost $6, not worth it.The restaurant's appearance is shabby. It has caution cones all throughout the floor, and dosen't look like it's been cleaned or moped in a while, including the bathrooms.

I was visiting va. for the first time in 10 years This was the first time I had a Hardee's biscuit in over 10 years. What happened to this biscuit? No biscuit on the bottom. The fact is that this was the worst sandwich I have ever bought from Hardy's. Don't have to worry about me going to Hardee's anymore if my food has to look like this.

Poorest experience. Arrived in drive thru at 10:55 because breakfast is served until noon.Order took 30 minutes. Biscuits burnt. Eggs prepared for the $2 cheaper sandwich. Extremely salty undercooked bacon, was salt added? As I ate, it truly felt vindictive from the person who prepared my meal. Horrific.I get it. Serving breakfast until noon is probably an inconvenience. But just take the signs down. Or lie to me in the drive thru line. "We're out if bacon." Whatever. Don't make me pay $11 and then wait for a half an hour for two terrible breakfast sandwiches.

The lady was actually better than my previous experience I didn’t have to drive off because of rude in employees she definitely had great customer service. On the other hand I will not be returning I’m so tired of wasting money on this nasty food. This place need to close down. It’s the only food place right there other than wa was and sheetz but I refuse to ever eat this disgusting mess ever again. I was hungry so I tried to eat the nasty sandwich but when the tomato came out that was it for me. This is not the first time I’ve had multiple bad experiences but this one did it. I’m tired of giving them chances to get it right. At this point they don’t care and this is just the way they do businesses. I would recommend it cold fies, stale burgers, old buns. Just trash! And don’t forget poor customer anytime after 3 smfh
We ordered the other day and after being told to pull to the side(as every other car did as well, nothing ready at all 5 cars at a time pulled to the side)they got our order wrong three times and had to keep doing it over because the lady was confused because so many cars were to the side she kept mixing the orders up

Employees were friendly and helpful. Store is dirty and needs deep cleaning.. should have known by looking at the store that they didn't care.. ordered a fried chicken sandwich combo .chicken was either old or cooked in old oil.. fries were greasy but was cooked fresh .so that tells me that their oil needs to be changed or their vats need to be deep cleaned.. will never ever come back.

Every time I go up there, the lady in the Drive-Thru tells me to hold on, and then just never comes back, but she keeps her mic open so you can hear all the personal conversations that are happening. Even if you try to get their attention, they just keep telling you to wait. I'll just stick with the Laburnum location.
